I really love your hair!!! has more volume like this!....it looks alot more put togheter and grown up elegant! really I find it beautifull and elegant! It has more "body" then before!
As we swelter in the US, it’s comforting to see you in winter clothes. I’m going to turn up the air conditioning and light a pumpkin spice candle and pretend it’s fall.
On the perfume, they can change over time as other notes develop over time. You can also notice in different climates they can smell different, it might smell more the same if you took it back to Melbourne (so crazy I know) and different again if you took it to Brisbane or Bali. I have had a perfume go bad it just smelt straight like alcohol no fragrance at all
❤🎉 Good on you for keeping up with panning. My depression has continued to be a pain, and I've rarely worn anything aside from my pajamas this year 😂😂 I realized the other day that my only foundation and powder oxidize on my papery white skin, so I am in between wanting to pan them or give them to my mum, since she's beige rather than fair. Love that we've both got mums who will help us out with the beauty things 😂😂
Oh man I totally feel you on the pajamas, I spent the early part of the year doing the same because I was sick, best we can do is pick ourselves up and just try again lol. I support passing on the not perfect makeup to mum and when you're feeling ready go treat yourself to something that feels right for you, might give you the extra lift you need at the perfect time :) xxx
You’ve inspired me to “pan” some of my art supplies. Like, do a drawing every day with the stuff I have that’s good but I don’t want to buy again so I can restock with only the things I know I love. Plus, I’ve cornered the market in paper and it’s high time I start putting a good auld dent in my stash! Thanks for the inspo!
What if you just cycle through your collection every month? Get a full face of products, set a single month's usage goal for each product so you can turn them over quickly.
😊 I had done that before Covid, hence how I know that if I preferred to stick to one foundation and one powder until they were completely done, it would take about a month and a half depending on use. Back then it was at least five days out of the week where I'd do full coverage. One MAC eyeshadow for my eyebrows lasted a year. A Maybelline Fit Me blush lasted six months.
I left one of my sol de Janeiro mists on my car for a couple of days and when I went to use it again it didnt smell the same, it was much softer and had an alcoholy smell. It wasnt in summer either, it was march, so yeah :(
You can get a filter to all the mains water to your house, makes the tap water drinkable, and will help if it's drying out your skin etc The chlorine in the water was definitely one of the first things I noticed moving here from over east as well
@@HaileyO it looks lovely! I guess when you're used to being very blonde and then you get darker it's weird. It really suits you though, makes you look very polished and classy ❤️
Also, another youtuber here was using the laguna cream bronzer everyday and it turns out it contains coconut oil and it was giving her breakouts, just so you know!
I have very very dry dehydrated skin, live in a dry climate, and have hard water. I've tried so many moisturizers and honestly have never been able to find an all in one. Right now I layer an oil, a light moisturizer, a thick moisture, a sleeping pack, and a balm on top of multiple other hydrating layers at night. In the winter I also slug with Aquaphor. I've half given up trying to find a perfect one.
I'm not a fan of the Tatcha Water Cream, either, and I have oily/combo skin. I definitely prefer the Dewy Skin Cream. I finished a lip gloss and I'm almost done with one of my hand creams (the Ecoya ones are great!), and I've decided to attempt a project pan (key word being attempt - it'd help if I actually wore a full face of makeup most days).
I've never had a fragrance "go bad" exactly, but I have had some change over time. In my experience with that, most bottles aren't perfectly airtight, so after a while the top notes that would typically disappear first when you're wearing it will also eventually disappear from what's in the bottle the same way, just a lot slower, so the fragrance loses it's complexity. Should still be totally fine to use, but you're probably not imagining it being different if you've had it for a few years.
Your perfume may have maturated (I think that's the term). Basically it's not uncommon for perfumes to change overtime as the fragrance ingredient mature, in a good way. A bad perfume will smell like pure rubbing alcohol.
oh interesting, I've never heard of that before but it makes sense that with time the fragrance notes could develop in to something different, thanks for the insight :)
YSL Baby Doll EDP went "bad" on me from living in non-airconditioned room. All cosmetics go bad fast in hot rooms, perfumes last for years but in a hot room they die. I put some stuff in the fridge, cream products can last for years kept in the fridge. Baby Doll was a pink colored fragrance and it turned mint green! How does that happen?? The fragrance smelled more alcohol, and the cherry blossom notes were mostly gone, it had a grapefruit citrus scent after changing color. I still liked it, no problem using it up. I saw a few being sold on eBay and they all look green.
Yeah I think the temperature conditions here, especially in the summer will be the death of my stash, the little garage conversion in melbourne was so good for storing things, it was the literal definition of 'cool, dark space' hahaha. I won't go as far as keeping stuff in the fridge because I simply have too much but I am mentally prepared for things to go bad and will just accept it. That's really interesting about the perfume colour changing! at least it's a good indicator that is easy to notice
I knew my Versace Bright Crystal was starting to go bad when I started to smell the alcohol that was in it as if it was one of the scent notes. I heard the same thing from others about other perfumes.

I think your hair looks amazing and fresh 😍 fingers crossed it grows out quickly 🤞
I have stopped panning produts and just rotate thru what I own otherwise i neglect things so i like the idea of usuage goal
I'm also doing rather a "project use it" when it comes to make up! It's also easier to compare products.

OMG your eyeshadow is GORGEOUS

Thanks Nys :) xx
Im loving my glasshouse orchid and blood orange hand cream i panned 4 hand creams and decided to splurge and got this one i love it
That hair suits you so well!!! Its so pretty

I think I might do that mostly with makeup now, just set some goals and work on it that way xx

Your hair looks nice! I like listening to you talk about makeup lol 😊
The hair looks really pretty😊
In Germany u can buy chlorine filters for the shower and for water taps. They really be filterin that stuff out.
Btw ur hair looks amazing

Yeah that's what I'm hoping to get installed, perhaps next year some time
Your hair looks amazing ❤
I still use my mum's perfume stash (at least 30 years old) and they smell more concentrated and persist way better than the modern ones!
The HAIR!! ❤❤❤❤
Hahaha well I'm glad some people like it at least! 😂

Have you tried layering some castor oil over your skin care at bed time?
Also, another youtuber here was using the laguna cream bronzer everyday and it turns out it contains coconut oil and it was giving her breakouts, just so you know!
If you haven’t tried them before, the cooling agave eye masks by petitfree are really good.
They are really cooling and soothing and hydrating.
Hey, just a thought…what if you take that Lush jelly and move it into an empty bottle but add water and shakey shakey! Boom shower gel!

That makes sense and is probably what's happened, I know I've had the DKNY fragrances for many years lol

I hope you’re ok Hailey. You seemed a bit down in this movie. So I hope you’re doing alright 💛
I'm ok mj, just a bit flat with work at the moment but nothing serious is going on, life is otherwise good :) xx
@@HaileyOgood to hear. I hope you’re loving life in Perth. (Apart from the water) 🙂

Perfume for me goes off when it really changes colour loses its potency and doesn't smell the same. Hope that helps!
I wouldn’t even bother with the photos Hailey, just throw it in a spreadsheet.
😊❤

That's what I was thinking would happen, however I think mine is on it's way there so I'm glad I caught it in time
@@HaileyO I hope you can finish it before it does!
Whenever I have had a perfume go bad, the scents a bit sickly sweet, or a bit musky smelling even if no musk in original
I have had a perfume change to a more alcoholish smell. I think that had maybe gone bad.

Try a water filter for your shower
