I've spent all week studying the body of work created by Cut Chemist and i'm sold. There's genius here. He transcends the individual elements and creates some pure art. Yeah!!
@Chwilami i remember listenin to a song when i was in school and i think its the sample at the start. look up periodic table song hopefully something should come up. but if your looking for what samples make up the beat the only way i know to find out is if you bought the album and looked in the album leaf to see the list of samples. hope this helps buddy
Lol what is this, 2005? Turntablism declined a long time ago. It's now settled into a niche which will be around for a long time. It's neither dying nor dead, it's stable.
@foos75 Hi foos75 ! I have found this video on youtube, and you are absolutelly right. That's for sure this track. But this track was just used in this video as it is. It's the example of usage a ready track. I'm looking for tracks wchich where used to produce this one. This skate video even if it is awesome, does not count because it is this track itself. I am looking for records which were sampled to create the beat. Thanks for your voice ! !
This used to be my tune when I walked to the subway on my way to school back in '08 during winter, when the mornings are dark. That was such a vibe bro.. Awesome to see someone is also still listening it in 2021 :D
OK, thanks for quick reply ! Can you give exaples ? I'm kind of recognising and collecting records used in this future primitive sound session. I already have recognised plenty of them, but still I've got many black holes. Thanks for help.
@999alex9991 if you end up finding a version with no vocals let me know, because i think cut chemist is awesome but he fucked the track up with the vocals.
@PrimeCinematics Screw that - Vestax PDX Mk2's are just as good if not better and you can pick them up 2nd hand for about £300 a pair. £200 a pair for the Mk1's, which are still way better than Tech's. Not that I'm starting the neverending Vestax Vs. Technics argument or anything... =P No, really its personal preference more than anything, but for the price you can't go wrong with Vestax...
RYAN KENRIECH love this tune good 1 cut chemist and shortcut

Turntablism is a dying art.
Thats what people was saying about vynil mixing from mid 00's. Still alive. Aesthetic
