I often put plush that my daughter picks up at the thrift store in a tied up pillowcase and put in the washing machine. They come out lovely and clean! That could work for your sheep pillow 🐑😊

What I liked about the Salvation Army is that it was a quiet store. So many times, Goodwills are noisy... with music blaring, vacuums running, things being crashed around, etc. It was a very pleasant change.
I learned a big thing from you today. I had never felt cut glass until today, I understand the feel now. 8" sawtooth is now mine, I paid $4.00. You have said you will understand cut glass when you feel it. I DO. Thank you Miss Dani.

That lamb was so cute looking back at u from the cart like thanks for taking me out of there! Even hand wash & dry outside in that hot Arizona sun. That was a nice store. Much nicer than the goodwills.

Dani, it just occurred to me a few days ago that a Viking glass pedestal bowl I found at Goodwill a few years back might glow as it’s orange and fades to yellow. Wouldn’t you know, it glowed perfectly! I had a similar experience with a hand painted rose bowl…just thought it was green until it occurred to me to get out my black light and wow…did it light up! And I just found my first piece of Vaseline glass…a Fenton footed candle holder for $5 at a garage sale. Glows just lovely. Thanks for all the information, inspiration, and fun!❤😊
Keep the bowl! It's beautful and a great starter piece. And, you can use it as a display piece as well.
You could soak, wash, rinse and rinse and squish out in a clean kitchen sink, OR put in a pillowcase, tie it up and wash in a washing machine. Sure hope you show us how clean it is after. It is super cute for sure and I follow Sandra and her sheep farm. She is going to love it!

When I have something delicate I put it in a pillow case (in this case a white one) then wash it on the delicate setting. That keeps it from getting narly or tangled

For the Franciscan bowl, use it and enjoy it. We don’t have to have a whole set to enjoy precious items.
To clean pillows,toys put in pillow cases,tie the pillow case and throw in washer.
My kids and I used to love "The Brave Little Toaster" VHS movies. There was a similar Pixar lamp that I loved!! Great haul

Ohhhh the sheep cushion 😍😍😍😍😍 so very adorable! Great gift! Loving the gold bin, the folk art print and the cat statue. Just beautiful. If I were you I'd keep the Desert Rose Bowl. I'm keeping my eye out for a particular cup and saucer from the 70s that my parents used to have. Sentiment and nostalgia from good memories are wonderful.

Danni, I signed up for a neighbourhood Garage sale on Sept. 16th, I FINALLY got into the stuff today! Got a lot sorted, lot's more totes to go through, then in the house, To find things in here I don't want either. It's amazing what I have been finding and deciding to let go of. It's time to clear all this stuff out!!! I do have boxes of canning jars, that I'm keeping and the canning equipment. So lot's of totes still for those, Also totes for my Books. I cannot wait to get that spare room reno completed, and get some used book cases, and load them up!!! I miss my books. Another tote to go through with China in it, but I have a feeling a lot of that will be going, plus some pieces of a corning ware set, and a full 4 piece set of corning ware, all old stock. I also have 3 of the Green Swirl Bowls, I can't decided if I want to sell or not, had those since we got married 55 years ago. But watching you guys sort and sell has really inspired me. Now that I finally got out to the shed, I don't want to stop!!! This is going to be my last clear out, so I am going to be brutal. Which really makes me excited. When I look around, there is SO much, that I had forgotten about. Now I will be finding it. Thank You Danni, for inspiring me, when I watched your clean out at the old house. That was an eye opener for me. God Bless and hope you sell lots of things. You have to get Bougie talking again. I miss that.

I would not want to get the SHEEP PILLOW wet. The stuffing is liable to bunch or shrink. I would use, outside for birdy sake, foaming rug cleaner with a soft brush on any bad stain. Then vacuum him off. And dry in the sun. He's really cute! It looks hand knit to me. Really well done. Mom was a knitter, I prefer crochet.
And def keep the bowl. That would be hard to find later. 😊 And as Erma Bombeck would tell you, once you have them use the good plates every day. Why should company be more special than you and your family?!
What you were trying to explain is what economist call Opportunity Cost.

Afternoon ! I like washing my delicates , wool or any yarn item in Woolite . My Mom always did and it worked for her . We don't have any Salvation Army anymore . They closed them all down . Why we have no idea why ? Great Haul of items . Have a great weekend !

Old English makes a lemon oil that has like a stain in it. That's kind of clear and it will just bring out the wood. I use it to fix the scratches on my furniture.😊

Shawn! He can be cleaned with a sprinkle of corn starch. Rub in gently, shake, brush, or vacuum. I had a fleece rug with red clay stains and this method worked very well to clean it.

Love the sheep pillow. I think I would wash it by hand in a big tub. I don't have one or I would offer to clean it for you. The purse is adorable too. Male ballet dancer is called a Ballerino; in France male are danseur and female is danseuse.

Salvation Army is my favorite store in my area. They are open 7 days a week and switch colors on Sunday. They also pull old items on Sunday to make room for new inventory. Never stale. We don't have senior discount. It's ok since the rotate so quick. Sept. 30th They will have a 50% sale. Goodwill in my area is horrible.
I do love baskets, but good ones are really nice. We use to have a store here I. Vermont called Baskerville. Now, they had nice baskets.❤️🥳
I was excited by the waste basket! Having found some Florentine pieces with big chips, it looks like a white plaster layer under the gold. Then I guess those layers are over wood.
Spray your lamb pillow with oxi spray then place it in a pillow case, tie a knot & place it in a front load washing machine by itself. Great handmade piece!!!
