@@lex_rodriguez I don't get it. I guess I'm not that. It sounds like it would make sense if the person being possessive caused the other person to cheat. Opposites commonly match up, so someone not speaking up much or non-confrontational might cheat on someone who's overbearing & possessive.

I wouldn't say any cheating is acceptable, but the one morally grey cheat I can except is if you are like 90%+ certain the relationship is done and the cheating is just your way of committing to ending it.
like the 2nd girl I ever dated we were on the ropes and she just said look this happened, I flipped out more out of principal she said she was sorry, I said I was done with her and she was just like "I know"
we kind of cooled off and she messaged me when she found out I was with someone else and said "look, i know it sounds bad, but I had to do it cause I didn't know how to break up with you cause you really didn't do anything wrong"
normally her ex's would cheat, be possessive, violent or pay no attention. I was a good bf, she just didn't love me that way and she didn't know how to end it without there being a bad guy so though if she did something she couldn't take back I would have to end it.

And cheating to get revenge when you're a female hurts worse than being cheated on. even if you broke up-cant even try to enjoy bthe revenge sex like you had earlier when mad set out to do. entire time you miserable thinking of him and the fact the only way it is real revenge is if he finds out. but in reality you know you dont want him to ever find out you revenge fucked someone because 1 or all 3 happen if he does A) uses it against you to cheat again in future B)says good score is now even caceling his cheat and doesn't acknowledge how much he hurt you to begin with because you did same thing he did C) blows up and now decides he is done with you completely not able to trust again and now you are doubly hurt. 2 wrongs dont make a right.
It's crazy to me how common cheating and revenge-cheating actually is. My parents and step-dad constantly did this to each other. You'd think that people would eventually learn from past mistakes and stop doubling down on them, but apparently not. This next time will work out better, I'm sure.
