  • So you fight. You go to a gym and train. You roll, you strike, and you listen to the wise words of those who want to help you. You train MMA and BJJ and you give it your all. But wait... what about those wise words?... They're amazing for your mixed martial arts growth and your Brazilian jujitsu practice as far as they can take you... but what do you need to know as far as your actual MMA Career? Do you find your fights? Do your coaches? Do you hire an MMA promoter or an MMA manager and pay them with the little money you have?
    Cowboy's $0.02? You need to expand, you need to know that the same gym you start at can’t be the same gym you end at. You need other options, other opinions. One person doesn't have all the answers, and it's important to remember you can and should travel, go to different places, get out of your home town and see what the rest of the country or the world has to offer.

    As an aspiring fighter myself, I think the first 2.5 minutes is possibly the most important and something I've noticed a lot. People get bitter and want things handed to them but fact of the matter is you gotta grind everyday if you wanna be the champ

    Cowboy brother nice to see you giving back my man, you are one of the most humble fighters and your always a great sportsmen win or lose. I have truly loved watching your career through WEC on through the UFC. Your cut from a different cloth, don't see to many real Cowboys in our generation anymore. What was great is I seen you in The Harder they Fall, and I also seen you in Spencer Confidential. Awesome to see you putting yourself out there. Can't wait to see you in the octagon again brother. Much love and respect always, God bless brother, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

    Hi, I have a boy who is very passionate about contact sports (wrestling, muay thai, boxing, MMA) He is 7 years old. I wanted to ask you to tell me what would be the best way to develop his motor skills and to become a complete fighter (if he likes it and further) what would be the order of sports he should follow to develop completely. What should we fill the window of opportunity with between 6 and 10 years old? Thank you!

    Paddy vs You will be the same as Conor vs You brother. He has so much starpower, the spotlight will distract you from the fight. You're much better than both Conor and Paddy but for once in your life: Do not think like a BMF but a true Martial Artist.

      @eezlummockelchev420 2 роки тому +1

      @@theegonzo3325 Ofc. He's a legend. For me, one of the best fighters ever. But that does not equate starpower. Sea level cain is the best ever heavyweight by far. But he did not have starpower. Cowboy had such an impeccable ground game, insane cardio and leg kicks far more superior than Poirier, still lost to Conor. In fact, he did not lose to Conor. He lost to the pressure he was put in by the spotlight. Cowboy never fared well in Main events because Main events = Spotlight.
