I always thought the old mouth animations on the idle felt off, especially considering they were added randomly in late 2021. It made me think it was some sort of bug that was never fixed.

If you don’t know Rare Wobbox now uses his eyes more the animations. It’s such a miner detail that I LOVE. Good job monster handlers.👍🏻

If you notice, they also fixed the disc not spinning in Water and Earth's songs
Not only that, the eyes in the Cold, Air, Water, Earth, and Gold tracks are animated differently.

I love how they focused more on the eyes. I feel like the eyes are the main part of the Rare Wubboxes’ goofy personality and how happy they are!
I would have never thought that a subtle change in the eye movements would make the Rare Wubbox feel more alive
In the old when he closes his eyes, he feels more alive
So glad they made this change the old one was so weird and jittery

Aside from the new animations, they still could've changed Fire Haven Rare Wubbox's voices to say something like "Overheating" or "System Overheat" instead of resampling their Air Island voices.
FITTING.
And also maybe change the air island sound to not get so loud randomly. That plus epic wubbox on that island make the sound of that part of air island hurt my ears.
It's kinda wierd that the animations were altered a bit out of nowhere, mostly the eyes looking around instead of almost always stationary. But it gives it a bit more live than just staring normal (I guess)
So basically the mouth in the idle is mostly shut, the eyes finally move, and it's overall much more consistent with most other monsters. Cool!

I love how much Fire Haven changed.
I really like the new animation on Rare Wubbox’s eyes. It gives him much more of a personality. My favorite is probably on Earth Island.
Aaah… he still doesn’t stare at you like back then on cold island, but this is an Upgrade for air and water!
They changed the idle animation so that it would be more like the common/epic variants. It no longer has the smooth mouth movements in its idle animation. I'm fine with everything else they did with the eyes and the disc, but my friend Rare Wubbox no longer has what I consider to be one of its defining features; a smooth mouth movement during his idle animation. They need to change the idle animation back.
@@Game_Blox9999 no not the idle animation, in its actual playing animation on cold island, it would stare at the player while glitching the word “buffer”. It’s during the part where it’s right eye twitches a little. This was before the first epic wubbox update tho.
Something interesting is how R. Wubbox’s newer sounds on Ethereal and Haven (and presumably Wublin later) are easier to understand than his older sounds on the 5 natural islands.
Seems they don’t want any more of those ‘rArE wUbBoX lYrIcS rEvEaLeD’ videos.
I love how it gives the new rare wubbox animations a bit more personality.

They finally fixed the disc in some islands! And he looks down more often which surprisingly makes him look more expressive

For most wondering, they mostly changed the idle animation to match classic wubbox. Of course, the eyes did change too.

@@silvervr5911 yup, its still choppy, you can see how the arms don't smoothly move back into place, they have only two frames

I prefer both rare wubboxes, but the new one is kinda better due to the movement of the eyes making it more like an expensive robot compared to one on wish.
The new animations make it look less dead inside

I always noticed his dead, unmoving eyes. For the longest time, I assumed it was an animation error. So glad it was fixed.

It was the eyes on the gold Island and cold and sor and water and earth because they never look down they just kept straight up but the new one put his down
i never noticed the rare wubbox just stating off into space on the old islands (except Plant, for some reason) but now I definitely won't because it's fixed
