Having spent some time with Adyashanti during the past 2 years and also enjoying his retreat settings. It was always obvious to me that Adya really tries his best to be perceived as human, real, reachable and as relatable as possible.
So i thought that before entering into a dialog over the all-pervasive reality. It was better to ask the basics first. Things one perhaps don't get to hear too often about a spiritual teacher: What he eats? Does he enjoy sex? How he sees his wife, the moon and the world..
He always answered from that unspoken, indescribable space within himself, regardless. It permeated every one of his answers. It created intimacy, lots of laughter and the deepest gratitude in my heart, for I knew I was meeting a rare kind of fellow: one who wears no masks.

Lovely, i love adya cause his honesty even to recognize when he gets blank. He is not just some " guru" who tell us that he knows everything and always have the answer. Thats reall humilty.
I know right?! Those eternal guru-silences as just too funny sometimes hahaha.
Yes. Same here. And I was pleased to find (during two retreats) that he's like that when he's off camera as well. No bs spirituality.
