ماهان از جمله شهر‌های آباد و خوش آب‌وهوای ایران است که در جنوب شرقی کرمان قرار دارد. سالانه تعداد زیادی از گردشگران از باغ‌های باشکوه و بنا‌های تاریخی این شهر بازدید می‌کنند. جاذبه‌های گردشگری بسیاری در این شهر زیبا یافت می‌شود و بعید است بتوانید فقط با یک‌بار سفر به تمامی این مراکز مراجعه کنید. شهر ماهان به‌عنوان یکی از شهر‌های ایران با جاذبه‌های گردشگری بسیار دیدنی و بی‌شمار، در دامنه کوه‌های جوپار و پلوار قرار گرفته است. به دلیل موقعیت جغرافیایی این شهر، ماهان از آب‌وهوای بسیار دلپذیر و خنکی برخوردار می‌باشد. فاصله شهر ماهان از کرمان، حدود ۴۲ کیلومتر بوده و کاخ‌ها و قله‌های این منطقه، این شهر را زبانزد خاص ‌و عام کرده است. به‌طوری‌که همه مایل‌اند تاریخچه شهر ماهان را بخوانند و به اسرار آن پی ببرند.
