Edmonton lost to Vancouver by what score last year?? 8-1 in the opener! Then went to the finals. I know that is not a for sure indication, but it shows they have trouble hitting their stride. But when they do, it's a...game changer. I'm a dad, forgive me. But that said, they let in 2 less and scored one less than last year. Probably an improvement, small as it may be. Well done to the Jets though. Impressive start to the season.

He is still absolutely useless defensively and plays with zero grit. Please trade him and let Nurse earn some of his 9 million on the power play. It’s only one game but the Oilers still show the same bad habits as last year, they haven’t learned a thing, you could see it even in the pre-season.
