You have to use StyleCraft faper or fade blade with the StyleCraft moving blade . If you do that then you basically have a budget friendly gamma ergo x
That’s what I was thinking.. my goal is to find machines that the blades don’t need to be swapped.. but it’s definitely good to know so I won’t have this clipper just sitting collecting dust 🦾💈🚌
So do you recommend swapping the vgr 640 clipper blades with TPOB XO? Is it much better with tpob blades? I ordered vgr 640 and kemei 2293 by watching your videos! Thanks
I wouldn’t say recommend I had the blade laying around so I try it on all the clippers it will fit, the vgr 640 blade cuts good I would say the TPOB XO does slightly better. Also could be a blade that’s way better than both idk about.
@@scizzahands ima get the 003 then and swap the blade with a JRL fade blade or TPOB XO blade. Keep making content Brotha. it’s straight to the point and real
@@chsn_visions i appreciate that because that’s the goal man I don’t want to dress up the content when it’s simple does this machine work good or not.. glad you understand 🦾🚌💈
@@ismaelmoreno6453 100% same for me. I try to go back to other clippers .. but I end up with the 003 back in my hand … although I still do spend weeks using other clippers to test for the channel but if one is struggling I always reach for my 003 I wish I had one years ago
Bro you need to use the new WMark NG-X1 with vector motor. Kemei and VGR also have a version of these clipper, the WMark version just has more accessories and a good price at $100. I think the VGR version is like $75
Hey bro I’m kinda new to cutting and all the small intricate stuff that comes with the art and was wondering why wouldn’t you just use the max rpm on the 003 for the whole cut, is it to save battery or you only use the higher rpm when it comes to thick bulk?
It has many use cases .. bulk Forsure … and yes lower rpm conserves battery, works well on baby’s and people with very fine soft hair , and is some cases while preforming certain types on fades. It can also come down to preference from the barber. 🦾💈🚌
The blink of death means it needs a new battery. Also if you try a ceramic blade on the magnetic levitating motor k e m e i. You will see the difference I think the cutter blade off the JRL will work with it
I concur. Ceramic will probably cut better. If not a ceramic just make sure it's a thin, light cutting blade. Magnetic motors spin so fast the blades generate a lot of heat quickly, that's why manufacturers go with skinny cutting blades. Problem is skinny blades don't cut as well as heavy duty ones. There's a tradeoff that needs to be made with high RPM motors.
I got the same clipper and purchased the XO blade to put on it. It cuts well with the XO but i dont like the click lever on it. Once I zero gapped it the first click really didnt seem to be that much of a difference. And the remaining clicks are real stiff. Maybe I have the lever too tight. How has your lever action been and do you see much of a difference from 0 to the first click?
Wow I’ll take a look again my xo blade didn’t look like it would fight.. as far as the lever my cut style I really only use it open and closed so I haven’t noticed
Review aside, I use 1 w the jrl fade blade on it. It's tough. Tbh, all I use is the voyager 003, kemei 2373 and the andis masters. So yeah, the 2373 is dope. I recommend
