This is nice ending....from the beginning I love this drama. Yang mi and Xu cai nailed it on. I love their chemistry. Xu kai is wonderful actor and my most favorite too.
Great drama. Beautiful ending if not just a tad bit mild. I can’t put my finger on it. What was it about the reunion that seemed slightly underwhelming? Maybe him moving into the apartment next to hers? I loved all the actors, especially the leads - they don’t get any better really - even every supporting actor were A-listers. The writing and music was great also.

Why such a rushed ending for Yang Hau And Qin Shi? (8 min) The Producers and Writers should have had them find each other in the Airport scene. Shi finally tells Hau that he is her one and only, shi confesses and takes a leap of faith and tells Hau she loves him, risking rejection and asking Hau to marry her again. They embrace and kiss ..... cut to Meimei going to the hospital to have her baby with Hau driving the car, cut to Shi and Hau seeing the baby and looking knowingly that a happy life with a child of their own is what they want. Hey, maybe another wedding ceremony....this one at city hall just the two of them committing to each other.

idk... I loved this drama up until the last three episodes. If anything the ending of this drama showed signs of a bad relationship. I do not like that Yang Hua divorced and broke up with Qin Shi. A break up is a lot and then the reason was weak. Qin Shi is a person who has only witnessed bad relationships around her. That's about 20 + years of seeing toxic relationships from home and then being single for 10 years give or take. Love and relationships is a very scary things for her. Yang Hua knows this and broke up with her anyway because she couldn't declare her feelings right then and there? like you don't want to give her time to develop her feelings. Like you guys have only been dating for a few months. Then for him to allow the misconception between him and his Ex is absolutely disgusting. He wants her to be honest about her feelings but in what way is being deceiving with a scenario that isn't real between him and his ex honest? Then he comes back and doesn't apologize or explain why he had to been gone for 7 months. And in what universe is 7 months enough to have someone declare true and honest feelings. This girl is hurt and lovesick. In her mind, she just got left for another woman. To come back with no formal apology or explanation is disrespectful. Then you have to notice the influence of power dynamics. Qin Shi is an ambitious, high-achieving, hard-working woman who is very competitive. She wants to win. When she thought Yang Hua left with his ex, I am sure it hurt her because it makes you question how well you know a person and your self-worth. In the final scenes when he finally answers that he choose her over the ex, it felt like he was rewarding her for being chosen rather than two people meeting again with honest feelings. Like why couldn't you say that episodes ago when she first ask? In the end, she's more emotionally dependent on his terms rather than a mutual agreement. But if the drama ends like this, this may not be the romance drama that I thought it was but the beginning of a bad relationship. And again, why is 7 months enough time to declare love, especially while heartbroken. This woman has 34 years of bad relationships around her.
And adding to it She will always live in fear that he will one day leave her again In previous episode she told yao yao that he will never leave with her which shows how much she trusted him But in the end for 7 months he proved her wrong and she definitely be questioning her judgement and it will be more difficult for her to fully trust him or anyone
Unfortunately, he didn't tell her that he chose her. He told her that the place in his heart was only for her. That's not the same. Earlier, he loved her too, but it didn't stop him from choosing Yao Yao over her many times. As his friend said in the bar: Yang Hua doesn't love Yao Yao but gave everything for her (including money and his wife's career). He loves Qin Shi, but he let her go. My guess is he'll be with Qin Shi, but whenever Yao Yao and her/their son will need him he'll be choosing Yao Yao over her. Similarly, the second apartment reminds the arrangement between Qin Shi's parents. Her mother keeps living in the same house as her husband's ex.
If you love something, let it go; if it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was. Qin Shi is finally able to be herself - not defined by her family background or the firm she used to work for, or be constrained by the 'fake' marriage she entered into. The last episode felt a bit rushed though, but enjoyable nevertheless.
It's rather a matter of make up. They wanted to make her look like a strong woman, so they made her a strong make up with red lips, and that makes her seem older.
Love doesn't know an age, it's an emotion which controls your mind and body. It seems to tell this couple go for it. Btw lead actress was married to Hawick Lau for 4 years.
