Great tips about keeping our pets out of our stitching and keeping out stitching out of our pets. I will have to go look for the tweezers with a lighted magnifier. That looks incredibly handy. I'm always petrified when I drop a needle that my cat will see the thread and mistake it for a toy; so if I drop a threaded needle, everything immediately stops until it's found. I have a difficult time keeping fur off my work because my kitty loves to sit and watch that lovely thread wiggle around as I work or do head butts which jiggle my hoop (I've gotten quite adept at avoiding needle stabs and the results blood drops.) At the end of a stitching session, everything goes into a bag or covered somehow to keep curious noses and paws out of my work and fur from landing all over everything. I also keep a lint roller handy to run over things when it's shedding season; that has helped vastly. Nicola, thank you as always for great tips and updates with HATS.
What a fantastic idea to protect your scissor tips! Thank you so much for sharing! I love the cheeky title of this video 😄 I also use a white eraser to get "frog fluff" off of my linen--such a nifty tool that has been repurposed for stitching!
Beautiful stitching and a great way to display the gifts from friends. Gorgeous quilt. I see you found the plate it is beautiful so glad you got it for a good price. Thank you for sharing. I wll be stitching oan The Wizards tonight while watching Teresa's live tonight at 7... Together we count.
That display of your samplers and the quilt and the Doulton plate and everything was a feast for my eyes! Thanks! I love the small Mexican sampler. I was surprised that it's only using 2 colors of floss. It's beautiful.
Lovely video and beautiful projects. So glad you got your craft room back. Love the Royal Doulton plate. I am blessed to have some of my Nana’s Royal Doulton figurines and they are such a treasure. Thank you for sharing the protectors for scissors. Enjoy your party
Thanks so much for sharing with us your beautiful stitchy tools that seem very handy. Your last sampler with roses in the center looks really gorgeous. The panel to do a project bag is a brilliant idea. If only knew how make them. Thank you for everything. Isapassions. ❤
Very interesting, that Mexican sampler. I really, really have to make some decisions about what I am going to stitch because there are so many choices! As for protecting my scissor points when I put them into a block, I have just put a tiny bit of quilt batting (just a 1/4" square or so) down into the holes in the blocks and I think that is enough to protect them. I don't drop the scissors into the block, I set them down, so I think that gives enough padding to suit my needs. Thanks for sharing all the interesting things!
Another delightful video❤ you always make me want to stitch all the things. All your stitching tools and lovely item are embraceable! Where do I find those scissor tip cover-I need some of those. Enjoy your week and I can’t wait to meet you in October!
@nicolaparkman as soon as you mentioned them on your video, I went and looked for them. I just thought if people in the uk would like them, they know we can get them over here on uk amazon 😉 😀 as shipping from USA is so expensive now 🙈
Hello Nicola, loved all the tips. Do you have info you are able to share about how/where to have printing done on velvet? That is a such a great idea, thank you.
Hello - I use a commercial fabric printing company for the Hands Across the Sea Samplers range of fabric. You have to order in bulk meterage and I added the panels to one such order. I am not sure of they would do one off panels but I can ask them.
Happy day, Nicola! The entire display in this video was beautiful. Love the memory boxes. Are you going to offer the samples printed on velvet? That is such a great idea.
I received my panel and was wanting to make a smaller bag to store my threads- a bag similar to yours. Can you tell me if there is a pattern available for your small bag? Thank you so much ❤
Enjoyed the beautiful items and wealth of information you bring to your video’s. I’m curious about the eraser you use as a fluffing tool. Is this a regular white easer? Thank Nicola

Nicola, I haven’t even watched the show yet!! The title alone, had me check twice, to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. 😅😂. You are too funny. ❤

Hi Nicola, enjoy your peaceful week without builders and workers around your home. TTFN
As always, so fun to listen and watch. Thank you for your time and all you share.
Also on UK Amazon they have SZQINJI shadow boxes , 3 different colours and 3 different sizes £25.70 ...
Well done on finding them. I looked at Amazon Uk when I was in the States but could not find them.

Is that the sea we hear coming through the windows? Sounds wonderful!
I good morning Marilyn - yes it’s the sea. I love the sound even when it is angry.
Happy day, Nicola! The entire display in this video was beautiful. Love the memory boxes. Are you going to offer the samples printed on velvet? That is such a great idea.
Hi Terry - I have been inundated with requests for the samplers on velvet. I am going to give this some thought.
I received my panel and was wanting to make a smaller bag to store my threads- a bag similar to yours. Can you tell me if there is a pattern available for your small bag? Thank you so much ❤
Hello Carla - the bag was a gift from a friend. I believe the pattern she used was a By Annie one.
