I'm happy to report that I not only got Furina like I've been hoping, I got her early (via my brother) and had enough to try for C1, which I got as well. Both 50/50 wins so I'm going to share that new luck for you for the future! Since I'm likely not rolling until 5.0.

Baizhu needs quite a bit of ER is you want to burst consistently with him (especially if you need the Dendro application for Spread/Aggravate), so Prototype Amber is generally better on him than TTDS. That being said, I've had mine on a hybrid build (35k HP and 500+ EM with Sacrificial Fragments) for quite a while and I have yet to regret this decision. Ooh I noticed that Keqing's burst is always available before his so maybe Sac might actually be the move to keep them synced! Sheesh 35k hp with hybrid sounds great, I'll try and roll more artifacts for him soon and see what we can do, he's definitely the best healer we have for the account right now so we need to buff him up! ohhh, don’t worry!! C6 Bennett isn’t bad anymore 🤗 New characters that have infusion cannot be overridden by Benny infusion anymore. The only ones who can are obviously the old theee characters Ayaka Eula and Keqing. And the thing is, most of their teams actually don’t need Benny at all. They all have their dedicated support like Keqing for aggravate with nahida Eula with idk rosaria, mika, and ayaka is mostly used for freeze team, but if you do happen to use her in melt teams, you don’t want to melt with your Normal attacks but rather with the burst (and skill kinda(. I was also scared to C6 my bennett before 😭but now I don’t regret/care 🤣
Yeah c6 Bennette is amazing! I'm just scared to do it because there's no going back and I like having him with Ayaka sometimes OTL Thanks for the info on the teams and pros of upgrading him! I'll certainly think more on committing to it soon 🥰Hoping that hoyo adds toggleable constellations one of these days too 🙏

C6 Bennet isn't that big of a deal. Cause hoyo is sticking to "infusion can't be overridden" trend with the new characters. So Bennett is unable to override the new characters personal elemental infusion. Only old characters like Ayaka, EULA etc have a problem with C6 Bennett.

This and your blue-only series kinda inspired me to make an alt account where I only pull for/use characters who have mostly black, gray or white in their design (if a color is a light enough pastel or dark enough shade then it’s counted as well, i.e. Sigewinne’s color palette being pastel and Zhongli’s color palette being super dark) So far I have Lumine, Noelle, Kaeya, Chongyun, Gaming, Xinyan, Barbara, Rosaria, Lynette and Fischl who I can use, and I’m currently pulling for Furina since her being the first five star I get on this account (that I can use at least) would be amazing.
and for context on the ‘five star I can actually use’ thing, outside of the five other four-stars I have that I can’t use (three freebies being Amber, Lisa and Xiangling and two being from the standard banner in Layla and Diona), the Noelle banner decided to pull a cruel prank on me when after giving me Noelle on the first ten-pull it gave me a five-star on the second (and final) ten-pull. I was hoping for one I could use like Jean, Tighnari or Diluc (Tighnari especially since my Alhaitham pulls went nowhere), but the game flipped the script on me and gave me Keqing.

Because I’m kinda going off of palette percentage breakdown and Xingqiu’s suit seems to take up most of his color scheme (idk if anyone would care to read this but i just have to say it because i really liked making this idea and wanted to share the criteria i used) Reason i do the palette breakdown is because characters like Arlecchino and Wriothesley whose color palettes are mostly black, white and gray are few and far between and if I stuck solely to 80% or more i’d only be using like… 5 or 6 characters right now, so I’m rather going with a pass-fail system where if a characters color palette is not made of at least 1/2 white, gray, black, or some form of extreme darks/pastels then they are considered unusable for the challenge. The only characters exempt from this are characters who have a noticeable natural feature that is white, black or gray (i.e. Razor’s hair, Ayaka’s hair… etc.) unless it’s not enough to be considered substantial. My only problem is deciding where the lines between pastel, midtone and dark lie and where the extreme ends of pastel and dark are
I think you will have a lot of saving time for the next purple character bc from version 4.8 -5.2 there won’t be any purple character reruns so basically u can save for the rest of 2024 since 5.2 will be released around November 10th so u will be pretty much guaranteed the next purple character and maybe there weapon or c1 if u wanna spend it all on them :)
But there might be a brand new purple character since it’s only the reruns that have been confirmed and not actual new character bc we don’t know them rn
Ooh ok, yeah I can imagine that Nathlan will be adding a lot of pyro characters so purple will definitely be hard to come by OTL I'll definitely be able to stock up on them!
