I review the Marshall Stockwell Bluetooth Speaker. Wow. Never have i regretted so much buying something. This speaker has serious connectivity problems and the on/off button died after two years of super careful usage. Marshall is late to game and what they bring is a load of shaite.

My first and last Marshall purchase. Never have i regretted so much buying something. This speaker has serious connectivity problems and the on/off button died after two years of super careful usage. This is what I was looking for. Even without it being new, I find it very interesting considering how portable it is. Looking at teardowns I see it has two full range, two woofers and two passive radiators. I'll definitely be getting this one over the Emberton or any other as portable as this one.
Had this on for about 3 hours today in the basement. Still my speaker of choice some 3 years later 🤘

You can use the equalizer on the VLC player if you use that, and probably on other music playing programs too.
Great Review! This Stockwell is way better than the version 2 of it in terms of the design. Looks a lot like the Stanmore. Do you know if this is still available to buy somewhere?
Probably only luck will be eBay or Mercari. I agee and my stockwell 1 gets a lot more play than my stockwell 2 - even 4 years later 👏

It simply looks beautiful. I'm kind of in limbo. I want Marshall that is portable, has buttons to adjust on top and has the best sound. I just can't imagine this one having a better sound than their new Emberton 2 which is 6 years newer.
Nowadays they have the same price, I know the bluetooth is updated and the battery life is only 5 hours apart.

This is still to-this-day my favorite bluetooth speaker. I even sold my Marshall Stockwell 2 - but kept this one. It's a bit heavy - not ULTRA portable - but I love the physical EQ settings up top - and there's no real lag when it comes to the outdated Bluetooth on here... Much easier choice if this one came down in price a bit, that's for sure.

Serious advice push your glasses up a bit. Your good looking but if your glasses are to far down it lets you look 20 years older .

I love this speaker - still rocking it as my go-to BT speaker to this day.
The Bluetooth playback is so terribly low, my phone is louder than the Marshall speaker but once it’s connected via input its fairly loud. What’s wrong?

It's pretty darn versatile thanks to the control dials for treble and bass. If you want a more bassy sound, crank that and drop your treble down to 3 or below. If you want a more full, dynamic sound, crank both bass and treble to 8 or above. It's still my fav bluetooth speaker today!

Brijraj Sinh Zala id say go with this. Still love this speaker several months later. If you prefer a bassy sound, you’ll enjoy the bass and treble dials - so you can tune to your preference. You’re definitely not going to get that freedom with the beats pill!

Im considering the marshall stockwell and i check if i purchase this one it comes with a free headphone ( marshall major 2).great deal yeah!. I just wanna ask if until now are you still satisfied with the speaker how was your experience, are you still recommending this speaker?

Nope. Unfortunately this is AC to charge. It does however have a USB port which you can use to charge your mobile phone, etc

This one does have a mic for calls. The stockwell 2 does not. But I’d still prefer earbuds to take a zoom call, maybe that’s just me 🤷🏻♂️

In my experience, yes. The Bose Soundlink can no-doubt fill a room with super clear sound despite its small size, but this speaker has that added flexibility allowing you to dial in bass and treble - on a per-track basis if you wish - adding to its appeal. I'm still using it as my go-to Bluetooth speaker around the house.
thanks, i would like to buy a portable Bluetooth speaker (take it out before i leave my car, cause i don't want someone steal it) that I can place onto the dashboard in my car, the size is needed to be small (so, it doesn't become an obstacle vision while driving), and the sound quality needs to be good and 'worth the price'. Which others do you recommend?
Check out the Creative Metallix Plus Bluetooth speaker I reviewed on the channel - cheap, dual drivers for a wider, fuller sound, 24 hours of battery...not bad to even keep in your car - especially for the price point.

In person the sound is great! I had to use some....questionable media in order to not get a copyright strike - so these are random cuts and/or live songs that I had on my iPhone.

what a huge slap in the face to their every day common client base....$1400 for a little bluetooth speaker. It doesnt even sound 1/10th as good as my ANKER soundcore motion+...all for under$100.00 .Compare em for yourself and you will realize its a simple cash gouging . I hate big companies who end up ripping off their long time customers and only cater to the rich with disposable incomes! What a huge let down...ill never buy another marshall product!!! they dont appreciate the customers that made them what they are! And if you really want the best guitar amp value and quality...get a Mesa Boogie...NOW THAT is worth the thousands you will spend!!!
Must be supply-chain issues - not sure where you're seeing $1,400 USD for this speaker - should retail for 100-200 bucks in the states..
