Great video. Just subscribed. What a great bunch of personalities that 2007 Red Sox was Schilling, Paps, Manny, and Big Papi.

I’ll never forget my first home run playing pro ball. Man, it was the good ol days. Just so happened, it was against the Elmira Pioneers…. I was a little nervous going up against Curt. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and somehow got that bat-head out front and connected with a 3-1 fastball…

I used to have Cubs weekend season tickets. Haven' watched an inning of baseball - in-person or on TV - in three years.

Yeah I tried but came back this year. Kind of an exciting team that might get there.

Utter BS about Oakland fans. They were drawing over 2 million a year when the Haas family owned them. They have drawn well over a miilion in recent years, the fans have had enough of the ownership selling off good/great players just before having to pay the good/great players accordingly. And the stadium issues too. And good fans don't support crappy teams, which, again, is on ownership
Blame former commissioner Dud, oops, Mud, oops, Fudd, oops, Mud, oops Crud, oops Bud Selig for most of this. Remember his contraction Talk in the early 2000s, oakland being one of his choices? Remember his interfering with moves to Fremont and San Jose(The Giants were doing commissioner CRUD'S bidding, not the other way, as the propagandists report). Commissioner Crud is responsible for Fisher owning the A's. Manfraud is simply following his mentor's(The aforementioned commissioner CRUD) wishes

Where is your criticism of the so-called city leaders in Oakland? Oakland has always been a Raiders city, and they turned a multi-purpose stadium into a football stadium where baseball is played. The fact sewers back up in the dugouts or clubhouses is beyond the pale.

Not a fan of Papelbon when he was pitching but much respect for his talent. If he was the opponent and your team was losing by a run, you did not want to see him come in for the 9th inning. Great interview.

Maybe Scherzer should have spent more of his Spring Training working out, instead of screwing with the pitch clock and ducking the WBC.
