Why use the wood hardener on the exterior when you're going to do an epoxy coat at the end anyway? Curious, great project at the end.

I used the penetrating epoxy (hardner) to seal the wood before the table top epoxy as this prevents moisture and air bubbles from effecting the finish.

@@bespokewoodartistry1517 Thank you for the explanation, that helps me understand. I don't know if I'm ever going to eventually pick up lathe work, but I can see ways it overlaps with the lapidary work I do.
Also, for some reason I find quiet ASMR videos like yours to be soothing. No politics, no bullshit, just artistry.
