With energy one of the most critical challenges facing the international community, ISO International Standard ISO 50001 on energy management systems could have a positive impact on some 60 % of the world's energy use.

Our organisation took an early interest in Energy Management Systems when BS EN 16001 was introduced a few years back. With the Scottish government's current favour towards wind turbine technology, we expect ISO 50001 to become quite popular as this decade progresses.
