My son actually burnt his carpet using that fly killer. They are very dangerous and luckily carpet didn’t set alight. I think that there should be a warning attached as they can be quite dangerous if used near materials.

I know you won't, but I recommend getting a cat/ kitten. You two are the perfect couple to raise an animal that will be with you hopefully for 20yrs. You will find that you develop an immunity to allergies your animal.
