Thank You, Tom, that was an excellent video to have done, I've been a major supporter of my Allied Brothers in Arms for countless years now. The British Military sets the standard the Free World over for so much. I'd like to mention that the lead in humanitarian works as well! I really enjoyed this and appreciated it on many levels. Well done for fund raising Tom. Its awful that there is not enough support for those who have suffered after active service. Fantastic island views, though sadly not equalled by the cider🥴. Better luck next time! The Coastguard were probably just checking that all was OK. They have no right to move you on, unless they were informing you of an unexpected danger. Glad you both saw the sunrise.... Again a really intetesting vlog. Thanks Tom!😊
Thanks for watching, I agree. Was watching the D day 80 celebrations and those veterans are national treasures as are any veterans. We need to care for them more. No one should have to go to war and fight. But unfortunately sometimes it can't be avoided. I'm going back to IOW end of month for a holiday with Dawn. Campsite camping and sightseeing. Maybe some walking. Scout out some wild camp spots for when we return again to do the coastal path. Apart from the extortionate ferry prices I love it there. Those ciders were AWFUL! 🤣
Great video. Good on you and Ian for supporting British veterans, sad that they have to rely on charity. Governments have no problem sending the troops to war not providing sufficient support for them when they're done with them is disgusting. I'm Ex-Australian military and sadly it's a similar situation here. Take care. PS sailed out of Southampton as a kid when the family emigrated from the UK to Australia in 1971. Coast guard may have been weighing up if Yourself and Ian were new arrivals. Cheers
Nice one Tom and Ian 👍 Great cause, and a great location to fund raise in 👌 Car 'camping' has it's advantages Tom 😉😁. Shame those ciders weren't up to the mark ☹️...lucky you were packin hot chocolates ☺️✊
Great location ! I live between Southampton and Portsmouth and haven't been to the Isle of Wight for many years despite it being so near to me, beautiful, and generally interesting . I think it's a common trap to start taking local attractions for granted !! Loving your rhyming couplets as usual too ! 😂👍👍👍
Great video Tom, and great cause you are supporting. I went to Isle of Wight two years ago with the family and loved it there, but I was also shocked by the ferry price to get there. I got the Vango Apex Compact 200 a few months ago, very similar dimensions to your Banshee 200. I have used it for 14 nights in all kinds of weather and it is a great tent, but its absolutley not for 2 people.
Hi Tom, what a fantastic video and some beautiful coastline. I bet you both had quite a shock when the coastguard paid a visit, lol its a shame you didn't have much luck with the ciders on this camp. I look forward to the next video x
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Definitely could've been much better ciders but they'll be memorable for the wrong reasons! Coastguard helicopter added to the whole adventure, was a bit concerned but needn't have been in the end. Great weekend. Cheers.
Brilliant Tom, more apt than ever given the new legislation which persecutes homeless people. Always interesting setting up camp in the dark but worth it for that sunrise 😍 two great camps there, look forward to seeing more from the IOW when you start the coastal path
Been a while Tom, I know life gets in the way, looking back at your very first vids lol how young and slim we all were, your the reason I bought a jack wolfskin still have it lol, whatever happened to Alex, hope your well , atb
Blimey long time no see mate, hope you're well I remember you! I'm having some time off from UA-cam and social media atm mate, probably will until the new year. Good to hear from you again! Thanks.
I'm going to cromer in july so I'm going to be retracing some of your steps when you did the norfolk coastal walk a few years back regarding the ww2 gun emplacements along that area.
Just outside Happisburgh. I visited there recently and I can no longer fit in the hole in the ground that grants you access to the all underground stuff🤣💪 really cool site but if exploring the underground stuff, best to have someone with you up top if you get into any trouble down there.
Great adventure. Bit of drama. Nice part of the UK. Maybe the coastguard was a subscriber, just saying hello. Vango banshee looks ok, for one.

Loving the videos Tom, keep them coming. Better value than the BBC licence fee.

Check my latest community post, all will be explained. Short answer, no, but I have missed doing one!

Totally agree
