kinda, it works like how flames do more damage the hotter your char is. So if you’re at island ice freezing and you use the cold version of the canteen making you even colder flamethrowers do less. Whereas if you somehow used the hot version on scorched and get flame throwered you would get melted by it even quicker.

that’s how it’s kinda worked when I’ve tested it but to get the most out of it you can’t have fortitude which makes KO stuff more potent against you
