Haven't played WoT for over a year - damn, this Holiday Ops is ridiculously convoluted.
Two years, here.
I'm kind of surprised that people are still playing as WG gets more and more and more slot-machine like.
@@amzarnacht6710 havent played since 2018 sold the account came back just a month ago. Apparently sirfoch is back in wot as well; from my first few games in tier 8 i can tell you everything is an autoloader now found out the hard way peeking after they shot only to get shot back
I'm still playing because I'm not sitting here complaining about. WG will be WG. Money grabbers. I'm just here enjoying a game I started in 2015
Idk why but your video really cleared things up. WG should hire you to explain stuff for them.

I can't wait 4 those boxes...
They make it every year more complicated and more expensive to do it. Not to mention that a lot of people from Eastern Europe cant afford to buy a lot of boxes coz of life standards into those countries. People working for 500 to 600 euros whole month and who is crazy to spend almost half of his monthly income on the boxes????

Regardless of the 'Vegas slot machine nature of the whole loot boxes thing the large boxes are *still* (and have been for many years) the absolute most efficient way to spend money on the game. Since the Holiday OPs started I never bought another gold box or premium time or premium tank. Since it wasn't uncommon to spend a hundred or two hundred on premium time/gold/vehicle over the course of a year you can get just about as much for a couple hundred $$$ in large boxes - plus get some tier 8 (even tier 9, now!) tanks, reserves, skill books, commanders and all that other crap.
IMO, they should drop the 'get gold for a repeat tank' and just give players a token they can use throughout the year to buy a premium tank of the appropriate tier from the regular store.
well deserved reward - soviet, tier 9 tank everyone can try to win - soivet, double barrel seal club tank at tier 5 - soviet.

WG - How about a tier 8 with 220hesh 800hp dmg and rockets...oh and a tier 9 light that can do 1200 potential dmg in 4sec and also can have a 42hp/t!

WG keeps advancing into oblivious frivolity with missing the mark on a competitive game, the point most play it. Instead we’re introduced to a lot of fluff, goofy decorations that has nothing to do with assisting the viability of any of the tanks WG is making pretty. They showcase nonsense sparkle instead of offering rewards to advancing crew skills or buffing ridiculously pathetic weak armored tanks, releasing interesting maps and improving the matchmaker that could make the game fairer. The game has become a money pit and distances newly introduced players by mechanics to the game that do more to frustrate than retain them. If WG could grasp what the game should be we’d have less to worry about with the cheaters, crooked boosting services and those that turn to idiotic trollish behavior due to the frustration dealing with clueless “team mates”. Gold rounds, more than one arty per game and impervious tanks in the same game against useless tanks two tiers removed are all just plain stupid and exploitative on WG’s part. Demand a better product by forwarding your complaints and stop attacking each other in a game that appears to be more and more futile to advance in without a lot of ridiculous effort - unless of course you want to pay a third party to help you.
