Hi Mark, yep I remember this job, an excellent finished product. Great to see it as one film and always good to have a refresher. Have a great New Year and all the best for 2025, take care, regards Chris. 👍👍👍 Just noticed 39.8k subscribers, almost there. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thanks for that, Mark. The Christmas break has done you good: you look years younger. 😄 The bit with the soil pipe was the first one of your videos I ever watched - I forget what I put in the search but it turned up this bloke from the next town over, sawing a hole in the side of a lavvy, and I've been watching ever since!
Hi Mark This is just the content I needed to renovate my daughter’s bathroom. Can you help me with what backer board you used and how you fixed it to the wall. Thanks
Nice job. I stumbled on your content by accident a few months ago. Great to see another plumbers options/perspective and working out problems. Keep up the content 👍
Hey buddy… Yep I did 2 bathrooms back to back in this house.. If you go to the playlists it’s in there This video is in there but over 4 episodes, and the next bathroom is the following 4… really good renovation on that one aswell… Let me know what you think
Hi Mark, Love this full bathroom vid! Thanks for putting this together etc as I can imagine how much time this would have took! Genuine question from me (DIYer) where you ran the shower waste, I noticed that there was a hole drilled for the cables just below it, I assume that is perfectly fine as you’ve done it that way, but I was surprised as I would have thought it would have weakened the joist too much, especially given the other 2 notches too, is that not the case? Could you explain why please? Many thanks as always for the videos buddy and hope you have a great New Year! Wishing you all the health and happiness for 2025 💪🏻
Not sure if you covered the toilet Flexi pipe. A good hint is to CT1 two pieces of tile at 90 degrees, then silicon them to the wall and floor and boxing in to neatly cover the Flexi pipe.
Hi Mark, great job and great video, I'd be interested to know a rough total cost for all the trades combined labour, be nice to see if I'm there or there abouts down south
Rough bathroom install that, you should never cut a toilet pan and weaken its structural strength… and then to over board walls …… say no more …. Stick to being a heating engineer….

Thanks
Glad you enjoyed the content…
It’s moisture resistant plaster board, screwed to the stud work like normal plasterboard…

Yep we all do it different sometimes
Looks mint Mark.
Thanks mate
Hi. HNY. You mentioned at the start a second bathroom refit in this property. Is there a video(s) for that remodel? Cheers.

Thanks. All watched. 😊 Did you ever box in and tile that tiddly bit of flexi to soil in the first bathroom or was it not worth the effort? x
Loved the video 🫡
Did you watch it at double speed 🤣🤣

Thanks for the comment Stephen… appriciate it..
Yep, imho not a problem at all…
Nice one mark 🙌🏻 can I ask are all soil vent pipes solvent weld or is it just the grey 🤔 cheers mate 👍👍
Hey buddy…. Been a while…
All solvent weld mate, I prefer using that
@@MJTiffPlumbing cheers mark 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I know mate not commented for a while hope all is well mate 🙌🏻🙌🏻👍👍
Toilet flexi pipe did you covered? I didn't see 😮
Yes mate was tiled boxed in and covered
Right on time #TiffSundays
Thanks mate
Who cleans off the old tile adhesive ?
We take the whole board off

Could the gap in the slip coupler become problematic if the owner was to add a bathroom/toilet above? 😊
Wouldn’t of thought so as you would work down towards it👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Mark for taking the time to put a video out and may the new year bring you more shitty soil pipes 😂
Thanks Andy 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hi Mark, great job and great video, I'd be interested to know a rough total cost for all the trades combined labour, be nice to see if I'm there or there abouts down south
Thanks mate…..
With everything done on this, materials, all the trades, labour etc etc I think from memory it was around 10k…..
Are you sure this hasn't been photoshopped there's some young man doing the plumbing 😂
Hahahaha…. Brilliant
Spat my dinner out when the wet vac ran out of battery. That’s real world plumbing 🤣🤣
Honestly mate…. The first time ever I haven’t checked the battery charge and I catch it on film🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️
Nothing staged on my channel🤣
@@MJTiffPlumbing thinks it being my New Year’s resolution for 10 years to make sure my batteries are charged. Failed miserably every year 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha….. I know exactly what your saying
wow,how much roughly would a bathroom like this cost ??
Depends on so many things to be honest mate…..
Is that pan going to be strong enough for people to sit in the long term future
Yep… not an issue at all.
This has been fitted now for nearly 3 years with no problem.
@MJTiffPlumbing thanks if I come cross with the same situation I just do that knowing it won't crack
👍🏼👍🏼
Remember this one well but didnt think it was two and a half years ago time flies and the video where you had to cut the side of the pan scary
Yep…. Flown by hasn’t it mate…. I did the second bathroom in the house straight after
Also what is the shower tray made out off…. Polystyrene
If you think people make shower trays from polystyrene then you really really have no place commenting what you have been so far….🤣🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
🤘😎🤘
Evening mate
By the way Mark the kit is £33.99 on e bay...Just saying
Isn’t it another repeat
It’s not a repeat really…. It’s 4 videos trimmed and packages into 1 full length video from start to finish…..
I hop we can be friends with u at
👍🏼
