Over here I am Hobonichi weeks for the 7th year. A5 rings for work. Hobonichi A6 5 year for the first time. Finishing out my Cousin spring start then will move to a B6 grid for memory keeping. Finally a Moleskine pocket daily to chuck in my bag and do daily tasks lists! Phew!
Seeing a video from you this morning has made my day! I couldn't watch fast enough. I've really missed you! I keep going back and forth on the planner line up for 2024. I know that I want to pare down my planner stack. I've been using 2 planners plus a wall calendar for several years. Because of my age and how work occupies less and less of my life as time goes by, I don't need or want multiple planners any more. However, I have a HUGE collection of vertical planner stickers that I want to use. So, I've elected to use only a classic HP planner for 2024. Disc binding is my favorite. I am currently using a mini and a classic, but for 2024, I'm just going to use only a classic. I will likely move into only a mini in 2025. Currently I journal daily in a b6 notebook. I prefer notebooks that lay flat, and so right now I'm using a spiral bound type. It takes me about 6 months to use up one notebook, so I have a stash of them from various makers. My planner never leaves my desk so I do have a very small pocket calendar that fits in my handbag. Planning has always been a huge part of my life and I doubt that will change, however, I need my life to be more simplified, less cluttered and easy. So, anything that is a part of my life is subject to change. It's a good thing I like change!! Have a lovely week, Michelle.
That is awesome that you are on your way of simplifying. I want to be there but seems like not just yet. I get the collection of vertical kits which I'd why I opted for the EC. Hope you can dwindle down your kits in 2024 to switch the mini for 2025. I don't take any of my planners on the go nor feel the need for one but if I did I would opt for a small one too. Thanks for sharing your planner plans with me Nancy! I hope you are enjoying your weekend and looking forward to chatting with you in the next video. 💗
I found over time, that I enjoy, just blank pages and just fill the pages as I go. It has the flexibility of been changeable at any given moment. Allows to test out pages that could be useful. There are planners I have bought and never used.
That had crossed my mind. I even thought about my common planner just filling out days as I go and need instead of pre-dating the week. But we will see! I also have things I bought and didn't use too... ugh!
Loved opening UA-cam and finding your video this morning!! This looks like a great line up and can’t wait to watch your videos using them. I love the idea of a 5 year diary!!
Aw thank you! I am hoping to share more on my channel. I think this 5 year with its simplicity will work perfect with the day per page because I could be mistaken but I think the hobonichi one has a full blank page for extra space and I think that would be too much
I use the A5 Take a Note as my work planner. I use the first column of each week as a running task list, ignoring the dates. Anything specific to a day, I put on that day. The weekends are my note pages as I don't work weekends.
For 2024 I am using a SPC edit from Print Pression as my memory planner with either Print Pression or Caress Press inserts. I also use a cheap planner off Amazon where I use pen only to write down what I did for the day. For 2023 I have been using Avalon and Ninth b6 week on 4 pages, but I am ready to go back to more of a traditional layout.
Nice! I always find myself looking at cheap planners on Amazon, but then think do I really need another?! No. Haha. That is why I am going back to EC a familiar traditional vertical layout
I love your lineup and how you are always willing to try something and if it doesn’t work, you pivot. I use hobo cousin Avec and it’s so much easier to write in since I too stuff it with stickers, washi, receipts, photos. But I can’t get away from how I love the stickers in the EC life planner. I also use a EC spiral notebook for journaling, budgeting, more memory keeping things because I don’t want to limited to a certain layout and I too don’t like seeing empty pages. I am trying A5 ring binder for health, prayers, random stuff but I just don’t like it as much. Here is to another year of planning!🎉 🍾
Thank you! Planning/Journaling needs to work in order to keep it up. This year with the launch of SO MANY PLANNERS! I tried to take my time to narrow it down and hit every planning aspect that I wanted for 2024. I am hoping this works out because this is one lineup I am really excited about. Half years are the way to go! I didn't even journal in my cousin every day this past year and it is pretty chunky! Love that you chose a notebook, that is definitely one way to ensure no empty pages since it is undated. I could never get on board with a A5 ring because it always felt bulky, but I could totally do an EC vertical LOL! Cheers!
Excited for all your planners! So far I have a b6 nisha fernando designs which I think will be my personal planner, an undated A5 sterling ink which I’m not sure if I’m gonna actually use it. I also ordered an EC weekly timed vertical cause I wanted the lines so I could write straight…I’m thinking as maybe my work planner/preplanning planner and a kell of a plan planner as my memory planner. Who knows what will happen 😂 since I love to just try different planners…
I was sooo excited to open my feed and see your video❤❤ missed you!! Nice lineup! I have a 2024 frankenplanner for next year on discs cuz I need to take my pages out while planning. 6 sections so she is definitely thicker than snicker 😂😂
Aww, thank you! Haha thicker than a snicker. I like that. That is why I like rings, to take things out to write. I slit some of my inserts so it works like a disc bound planner sometimes
No that is in taiwanese dollars? I am unsure what their currency is called. It is actually cheaper than a lot of planners on the market today at about $23!

That is an awesome lineup! Sounds fun and functional :)
I love your idea for the b6 common planner. I was thinking of selling mine as I found another planner that I am going to use daily
Nice to see you back with us!! Have missed seeing and hearing you. Loved what you have picked out. Thanks for sharing, as always!
Aw thank you! Feels good to be back and I hope to stick around for a bit. I am excited for my lineup for sure. Thanks for watching :)

I am going to be using a pocket size moterm rings.
It’s the smallest I’ve ever gone but I think 2 pages p day works for me! It’s so portable.
OoOoOo Hope it works out well for you!

I do not accept blank pages...which is why my Hobonichi A6 is a fat daddy! 😂
🤣🤣🤣 it took me a while to get there

You have a good lineup too! Who knows what will come out next year to try out in the middle of the year haha!

Question? Is the Take A Note planner actually $700? I went to the site from this video and that’s what showed up.
No that is in taiwanese dollars? I am unsure what their currency is called. It is actually cheaper than a lot of planners on the market today at about $23!
@@xoMamaPlans I went to the site a different way and found the correct pricing 😂
I probably will not have my planner lineup finalized until I decide what to purchase on Black Friday. 🤦🏾♀️
It would still be early enough😊
Who knows I might end up adding next year🤣
