If water is present in water tank you can keep pump and swing on all time. It will not cause any problem. If water tank is empty then only swing should be keep on.

In terms of performance there is no con in this cooler. It is still best cooler in this segment. The only con of this cooler is that opening this is little bit tricky and only back panel is removable. After using Optimus 100 for 3 years and optimus 65 for nearly 1 year, I must say Crompton Optimus is best. Both are same, only difference is capacity. 65 L has 65 liter tank and 100 L has 100 Liter tank. 100 L is little longer than 65 L, other dimensions are same. I understand english but not fluent in speaking, I'm sorry for that.

You're right sir, par Cooler ko tedha kyu karna hai. Aur plastic cooler me sabse achha water distribution hai crompton optimus ka. Aur iska reason ye hai ki hard water ki wajah se bhut sare Cooler ke water distribution pipe ke holes band ho jate hain aur pad nhi bhigte aur un holes ko open karne me bhi problem hoti hai. Par Crompton optimus me wo holes band ho jane par unko asani se open kiya ja sakta hai.

Manually karta hai, water ke flow ko kam kar deta hai jisse cooling pad pe pani kam padta hai aur pani ka evaporation kam hota hai. Aur humidity kam ho jati hai. Ye cooler se hone wali humidity ko control karta hai naki room ke.
Koi bhi cooler humidity ko kam nhi kar sakta, agar water flow ko kam karke evaporation ko kam kar denge to cooling bhi kam ho jayegi, ye cooler ka bahot bada weak point hai, agar tumhare ghar ka cross vantilation sahi nahi hai aur tumhare location me bahot jada garmi padti hai to cooler puri tarah failure ho jayegi aur cool nahi kar payegi ulte humidity badha degi jiske wajah se 40° me tumhe 50° ka feeling aayega. Aise case me AC hi sahi se kaam kar sakti h

In terms of performance there is no con in this cooler. It is still best cooler in this segment.
The only con of this cooler is that opening this is little bit tricky and only back panel is removable.
