Love the brand-focused reviews, especially since ELF has been coming out with so much recently. I’ve been loving their Holy Hydration! Cleansing Balm 💙🤍
I really wanted to love that product, but it contains polyethylene, so I won’t be trying it. I honestly expected it because elf tends to lean towards mass production.
i guess im randomly asking but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I love any tips you can offer me!
i was about to comment how beautiful your eye makeup looks then noticed that there were already tons of comments saying that😂 i guess that’s just a testament to how good it is!💕
I found the shimmers were VERY dry and chunky. Was so disappointed bc the other $3 formulas were better IMO. Did you find that as well or no? I did love the green mint stick. So pretty and lasts on my waterline
Your hair is absolutely beautiful - every time I watch your videos I always notice how smooth and voluminous your hair looks! Thank you for the comprehensive overview of what’s new with elf. Some of these products look really nice, especially those glosses!
Thank you for talking me out of those quads! I am so attracted to the shades, even though I know I have them in other palettes or singles. I’ve been going back and forth since they released, but you really helped me decide against them. It’s frustrating how a product being inexpensive makes me more likely to think “I’ll just try it out” even when I know I don’t need it, and the next thing I know my collection is huge and I can’t use it all! My goal this year is to be far more mindful about what I buy, and this review was so thoughtful! Thanks for all your hard work!
I know they're only $4, but I was feeling this temptation, too; what I did was swatch every single green eyeshadow I own. Really helped show I could already dupe those colors!
Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. I can totally relate to what you're saying. Sometimes I justify buying more drugstore and inexpensive makeup, even when I have something similar, because it can be so affordable.
That’s why you buy 3 types closes to your skin tone in 1. Warm 2. Cool 3. Neural. And see what best fits. Don’t do it online but in person for ex. Here in Canada in Shoppers drug mart, there’s individuals (who know what their taking about) will help u match it too your skin tone and give you advice, like Sephora on what best cc cream or foundation best matches, and then YOU can decide what you want.
You are honestly keeping me going at the moment! Here in England we are still in lockdown and I really look forward to your videos. So thank you for doing what you’re doing and I appreciate all the work you put into uploading so many videos every week xx
That means so much to me! Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment- I appreciate you! I hope you are staying safe. 💗 Our country is all over the place with lockdown and different rules. My state is pretty strict so I've been at home as much as possible and I appreciate being able to chat with you guys!
I clicked on this video and kinda went whoa when I saw your eye look. It is so different for you but I actually love it. It made your eye color pop. You should do more looks like this. 🤩
I bought the primer, CC Cream, the mint no budge shadow stick, the 2 mini mint palettes and a bunch of other stuff. I like the CC Cream a lot. I didn’t set it, because I have dry skin but it didn’t come off on my mask at all. I was really impressed with it and the putty blush too. The look you created is gorgeous!
You & Emily Noel had the same opinion about their new mascara. It's actually one of my favorites. My lashes are very curly though so maybe that's why. Love your videos. ❤
As a sheer blush lover, I LOVE the putty blush. It's so easy to work with, you literally swirl a stippling brush in and brush it onto your cheek. The color blends out instantly and is so beautiful! Perfect for people who like sutler looks but what to try darker shades! I got Bali and plan to get more colors
i just found your channel and i’m OBSESSED !! i have sparse & short lashes so it’s so nice to have an influencer who can give mascara options that are actually helpful !!!
I spot on agree with everything you said with the exception of the shadow sticks. I have dry skin so I didn't experience the problems that you did. But everything else was exactly my experience
I love your honest reviews! I got a box with many of those products that I'm going tti try. It's sad to learn that the new eyeshadow quads are not as good as the bite size. Sending love! 😘💖💖💖
The tinted balms, the darkest shade is a dupe for Clinique's Black Honey! It's amazing to have a CF dupe for it now, because I actually repurchased Black Honey several times before I went CF.
I agree with so many of your thoughts. I bought the mint eye shadows, putty blush (Caribbean), brightening concealer. I really like the putty blush either gently tapped on or stippled lightly, the Carribean shade is pretty bright so I can use the TINIEST amount.
You absolutely NAILED these reviews!! ✨ I just posted my review on the ELF CC Foundation and those are my sentiments exactly! And I have dry/combo skin! 6 hrs. tops before it breaks down! Thanks for you video! ✨👍🏻
That eye look is flat out stunning!!! It’s so different than what you normally do, yet it looks so you at the same time!! I really want to try the primer and the eyeshadow :)
I've tried the CC cream, and as someone with combo to dry skin with some texture, I really didn't like this product. Like you, I found it to be way too yellow toned for my skin, and it clung to texture like shrink wrap. I'm really not understanding why there are so many other positive reviews of this product. Thank you so much for also sharing the cons and not just the pros. I'll stick with It Cosmetics CC cream, as it looks far better on my skin than the ELF did. Otherwise I truly enjoy ELF products. This is actually the first time I've really been let down.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the CC cream! That's really good to know. A lot of the people I've seen who really enjoy it have really smooth skin but it's nice to hear from someone else who deals with texture issues too!
I totally loved the gloss you mentioned as it was nice and minty and sheer but with enough colour and was hydrating as I have really dry lips at the moment. It is also nice as a topper over a more matte lip.
I liked my new Mint Collection more than you did. The eye crayons required a slow build up for me as I have oily lids. And, the colors are very pretty. I bought two different shades of the CC cream because I hadn't worn cream foundations in years and had no clue as to what shade I would be. I do have normal skin that leans just a bit over to the dry side and you are right, I did very well with it. I was happy that I didn't feel like I was wearing a mask which creams have made me feel in the past. I did, however, put on quite a bit less than the amount you did. I always use setting powder and I experienced long lasting wear. I loved the two lip tint balms as they gave just a hint of color and soothed my dry ol' lips.
I definitely think the Mint Melt eyeshadows are workable for people who are a little more tentative or conservative when it comes to introducing color. I don't mind building them up nor that they are not extremely deep and opaque on the eyes. I do realize that's not everyone's cup of tea, though! I actually held off on the glosses, but now I'm eyeing them for my "you can buy gloss again in June" edict. 🤣
If you’re looking for cream product recommendations, Brit Clarke uses tooooooons of them. She going to be doing a video soon about them all. She mostly does live chats. She has found a lot of cream face products actually work over powder (she has oily skin too).
If anyone has a medium tan skin tone like me, I really enjoyed the I Heart Revolution mini avocado palette from Makeup Revolution's other brand. The shades are similar to these and they are super smooth and pigmented. Apart from the elf shadows being sold out, I was worried they wouldn't show up on my skin. I've really wanted to try mint eyeshadow ever since Colourpop came out with their mint palette but I couldn't justify adding that many colors to my collection. I am so satisfied with that palette for a pop of mint!
Mascara tip: I find every mascara I buy is too wet, so when I but it, I open the tube and pull the top out slightly and leave it out for a day. This dries the product and makes the formula thicker. I have long lashes, so if the product is too wet, it's impossible to use.
I agree I think 2/4 shades off does make a palette a dud, I found when I made the same matte colours in my mint to be palette vid they actually didn't take much layering so I'm glad I decided to make it rather than buy it. But those shimmers are pretty! I might want to buy a single silver-mint shadow at some point. Thank you for including both swatches and application!
Watching now! I really think elf has stepped up and yet still have amazing prices! I agree with you I need the right hydration if I am going for a Dewey look cause it can become too Dewey lol I really like the cc cream and think it would be good for me in the summer!
I’m so glad you made this video! I was trying to decide which elf products to pick up of their new releases! We have a similar skin type and this helped me so much! Thank you!
great video thanks for sharing! i’m excited to try my new elf products 😊 i also got the chocolate mint palette i haven’t tried it yet but i’m really happy i picked it up because this look you created with it is GORGEOUS 😍😍
I'm so glad to hear that it worked well for you! I hear a lot of people raving about it. 💗 I think the Mint ColourPop palette really is a better option than the elf palettes!
Girl , your hair! Please tell me that's extensions because I'm envious lol you are so pretty! Great detailed review. I've been curious about a few of the new products, I do love the wow brow and matte blotting powder. Also silly George lash serum completely made my eyebrows grow back. It works awesome but it's fairly expensive 44usd. It's worth every penny
I like the dream urban cover foundation from maybelline personally. It keeps a healthy glow but is kind of a thinner formula and does dry down. I have dry skin though so I don’t know for other people.
It looks good for a few hours but it definitely starts to enhance texture and wear away really unevenly! I wish it worked well for me because I hear such great things!
I have been a bit elf obsessed recently. I have been looking at a few of the No Budge Shadow Sticks and Putty Blushes. Your review definitely helps. Thank you!
I'm surprised at how much E.L.F. has gone up in price. I mean, they're still pretty inexpensive, but this new foundation ($14.99, is still on the higher price for drugstore foundations.
It is a lot for a drugstore foundation! I hope it's not a new trend for them because one of the reasons I love the brand is the fact that they tend to be really affordable!
@@AndreaMatillano yes I agree. NYX is a brand that to me is just outrageous in price now. Makeup Revolution is better quality and their prices are lower than NYX. Then WnW comes out with a tinted hydrator that has amazing coverage for 5 bucks. Yes please! Lol
@@Snoopy0728 same! I bought a bunch of back ups since sometimes makeup is discontinued or hard to find. And the best part it cost less than 1 of my typical foundations! I am loving it 😍 ❤
The Camo CC Cream is so good! I bought it RIGHT AWAY, lol! I’m also quite intrigued by the new mascara. I’ve never loved any of the ELF mascaras I’ve tried, but I’m hopeful for this one.
Thanks for the info on the cc cream - I have combination oily skin so I think I'll be skipping this - I need a matt foundation. I might check out the eyeshadow sticks.
I was so suprise that the cc cream was so yellow, which was perfect for me! Alot of drugstore foundation leans more neutral even though it's under the warm category. Love this video 💜💜
Thanks for the thorough review! I am waiting for the eyeshadow and am excited as it looks pretty on you. I'm wondering with the blushes though, how well you will be able to get the product out after a bit as container it's so small. I think the struggle will be enough to pass on these.
I am on the fence about the cc cream. I have dry, very fair and very cool skin. I find it to be not hydrating enough. It can really accentuate my dry patches if I’m not well hydrated. The shades are also too warm toned. So yellow! Ugh! That’s a common problem for the super fair/cool skin types. I do love the coverage. And it does wear well if I have the correct base products.
Your eyes looks amazing! I agree with you about the cc cream! First applying it looks great but after a few hours it really started to separate, especially around my chin! Great video 💜
I'll never not appreciate how much effort you put into your editing!
That is so nice of you! Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment!

The shades are also too warm toned. So yellow! Ugh! That’s a common problem for the super fair/cool skin types. I do love the coverage. And it does wear well if I have the correct base products.
I had the same problem with the cc cream. I swear it was orange. Hope you’re having an awesome weekend!
Your eyes look amazing!!! 😍 Such a great look on you!
Your eyes looks amazing! I agree with you about the cc cream! First applying it looks great but after a few hours it really started to separate, especially around my chin! Great video 💜
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on it! I'm sorry that it didn't last well on your skin either!
