Wow! Typically bands with this "sound" are horrible live without all the digital enhancements they use to make the album. Beach House sounds WONDERFUL though. Very impressed! Certainly their best song in my opinion. Makes me want go back to 1983 and fall in love lol. I saw Wahsed Out a few weeks ago and they were the same way. Sounded great live.
And indeed thats what i meant in my posts on vinyl comparison.they played this song on normal instruments before converting it to digital music which makes it sound very well when the effect of it is not involved on stage. The other way round would be harder to bring it live.
Wim Pauwels No No lol. That is not what I meant. I have huge record, cd, and cassette collection and I go to a ton of concerts. What I really don't like is when a band sounds way one on records, but then live they don't put in any effort to duplicate thier songs. Not the quality of instrument playback, but effeort by the artist. A great example in Rob Zombie. I love him to death, seen him 5 times and can't wait to see him again, but he makes ZERO effort to even sing all the words to each song lol. It's horrible lol, but the energy of his concerts are incredible lol.
their best song in my opinion
