You are the only guy in the whole world i'm watching vacuuming mouse poop out of an old truck! Love your work!
Not just any old truck though is it ,but one of most famous trucks in the world .
That ViceGrip Garage reference need more than one like !
Would love to see he's take on working on Kitt
Joe, thanks for the reunion! You combined not just Kitt's family but your own. :) Hopefully this year we'll be able to meet you all in person.
All these years later who would of thought. I think it’s awesome how both still exist and you own both of them.
And by the way, one true fan of KR can make a difference!!!
Your son pushing the tire was HILARIOUS he did a great job of really looking like he was struggling with it 🤣🤣
this is BEYOND AMAZING, I'm glad we have someone like you guys to do this for KR
Lol your boys British accent almost had me convinced! John (Brit)
Same here!
What a moment! never knew I'd get emotional about a video of these 2 iconic vehicles re united! amazing
Such a great introduction to bring out the children, Joe, 'cause like you mentioned in the video about KITT's blind drive seat, it brought the kids to amazement.
Another great video Joe. Loved how you finally used the clip of Devon disproving of being called “DEVI” 😂👌
These gem videos have a sequel or spin-off flavor of Knight Rider. Thank you Joe and team KRH that put in all the work!
I have to admire your self control. I would not be able to resist stripping off all of those layers of old paint, down to bare metal and starting over - assuming that I had any of those skills, which I don't. You have the patience and devotion of Indiana Jones.
Devon and bonnie haha. Nice reference
Nice intro Joe! 'Devon' and 'Bonnie' are doing a great job! Keep these in depth looks into your screen used KITTs and the Semi coming.
Man, that intro with the kids was priceless, they did so good! The car looks great, love the detailed walk around with stuff I missed on Leno!
I actually bust a gut laughing at "This is my son Devon....*face falls*" well done!
"And ny daughter, Bonnie"
I loved Knight Rider I never thought I'd be addicted to watching videos on remaking the history of Knight rider but here am fascinated with the attention to detail in everything you are doing to restore such a wonderful thing.
Great Dad and Husband. Thank you Knight Rider team.
Watching your brilliant series take me back to my childhood. Seating down to watch the knight Rider. I am now 49 years old. Keep the good work up. And thanks for great effort on this timeless series.😊👍.
I’m not actually British goodbye lol that’s too funny
Great kids good kids Joe
Adorable intro with the kids though. :)
That reunion brought me back to the 80's! And made me feel old 😂
Once again I applaud your dedication in preserving these parts of TV history.
You know the movie channel Starz is showing full episodes including previews of Knight Rider...
Hulu also has every Knight Rider episode unedited with previews...Because remember Knight Rider use to show previews wright before every episode started
Having a license plate from the original company is great. I heard the sound from that box under the Hood.
That's a lot of work on the dash. Thank you for doing all of this.
Lol! It's funny that you mentioned 'Smellevision'. There's an old Buggs Bunny cartoon that predicts the invention of Smellevision. 🤗
loooooooool the intro is hilarious 🤣
Knight Rider was one of my favorite tv shows back in the 80's. I'd love to see the completed semi in a finished reveal video. Thanks for going the extra mile and taking the time to find, document, and restore these pieces of television history! I'll be ordering some of your merchandise to support the channel in the near future as well.
In His Service,
George Rivera (ChosenNightwolf)
The kids are great! I've had to evict mice from cars before...not fun, totally gross, so I feel your pain. You can always carefully cut an access hole into the evap housing to check for more and then glue it back in. I like to follow up with spraying bleach water in all the ducts when done. Great reunion man. Great work too. Would love to help with those electrical issues. I'm an auto electrician who was inspired by Knight Rider.
The Knight Rider family reunites again. Great job.
Hang on, if knight rider is a small part of your life, your life must be massive!
‘Semi’ means something else in the Uk! 😂 🍆 inviting us to look at your ‘semi’ had me worried!
Hey....some people might tune in for that ;)
There's a country music Christmas song called "Santa's Got A Semi". Check it out if you haven't heard it.
Nice to see I snagged the correct door panels in the junk yard years ago for mine. Map flap and all.
Great work, it would be nice to see KITT reversing out of the Flag semi when its fully painted and restored.
40 years later and that thing still looks good!
John Snyder "Dukes Of Hazzard" had said in a vid that, The General Lee cars were fixed & repaired so much with paint & bondo that the body lines were almost gone on the cars. He had personally rebuilt more then 20 Generals. Great channel "CHEERS".
They never “rebuilt” any of the cars. It was cheaper back then to just go and find another charger. I think what you mean was whenever they would take the chargers and do repair work/converting to make them look like a 69 charger.
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing this exciting content! I love it! Also, your kids are awesome, too! Also, KITT looks amazing - and it’s crazy how when you’re more than 5-10 feet away the imperfections seem to disappear (kind of like on the show) - lost in that wonderful sea of shiny paint blackness!
Boy, am I glad I decided to watch this not at lunch, as was my original plan, but about an hour after dinner.
Your dedication is commendable! Thank you.
Even the 'scanner relay clicks' rhyme with the theme song🙃
The semi is definitely looking better.
It's was cool to involve your kids in the vlog. Your a great dad!👍👌🙂
Thanks 👍
Them guys we're a godsend joe your attention to detail is second to none, your should be very proud and you need applauding for all your hard work to date, keep up the very excellent work, the truck and trailor look fantastic.
Thanks so much!
Family reunion. Beautiful .this channal rocks.
Ha, ha, great episode and great actors 🤣👍🏻
Thank you!!
Good to see k.i.t.t dont get restored. But kept like this👍
That car still looks , sleek , mysterious and cool!👌
I have a good feeling that the semi project is gonna be a blast! And hopefully the trailer will be finding its way back to you as well, would be neat to see everything back together. You're doing a great job dude, my respect.
"I'll be dipped!" Joe, I take it that Vice Grip Garage, or Auto Auction Rebuilds is one of your favorite channels too.👍
Hello from Phoenix Arizona!🔥
Just got my Semi Restoration Team shirt today, very cool. I have often wondered what happened to the General and am glad they are reunited.
So cool seeing things come together.
Love it! It's just fantastic to see part of our childhood also being part of theirs. And I can smell how much better the semi is! :)
That's it!
I am calling A-Team to rescue your children!
🤣
Too late. Airwolf already swooped in to rescue them.
Nice reference to Vice grip garage and Derek. I’ll be dipped!! Great work and love the work you do to keep the screen used knight rider cars and truck alive for our kids to experience the magic of kitt alive.
Well, it looks like fella is doing a good job LOL
Interesting episode :) Definitely different from the others. Thank you very much for sharing fun facts about your family life and the secrets of the KITT :) P.S. Fantastic reunion of the SEMI and KITT!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Was that frisbee off of Barris’ gold version KITT?
Kitten!
Loving seeing the truck getting restored, can’t wait to see the end result - great job!
Fantastic video! Watching this wearing my Semi Restoration T-shirt and mug!Very cool to see the two reunited after all these years, along with a closer look at the screen used K.I.T.T ( looking forward to a future video showing it in more detail).
Really enjoying the series, looking forward to seeing it finished and even though I'm located in Ireland, I would really like to be there for the big reveal and get a chance to meet you in person along with seeing a very special part from my childhood!
Also, PMD seats for $25!!!!!!
Thanks for supporting us!
Great video! Love the fact you gave the nod to Derrek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage at 19:59 "I Ill be Dipped!" Love that guy! Keep up the good work on the semi. Can't wait to see it restored back to its original look.
Cool to meet the Knight Rider family 👪.
And the original screen used Kitt?
👌 restoration. Keep it as original as possible.
Love your channel. Awesome history and a lot of knowledge about Knight Rider 👏
Keep up the wonderful work to preserve Knight Rider history 👏
Great video, fascinating footage of the screen used KITT and Semi. And well done to the kids - destined for Hollywood!
I was glued to this. Can't wait for the big reveal. My good lady got me a signed photo of The Hoff and the reissue jacket. I need to shift the covid weight - one less bar of chocolate will make a difference Michael :)
Loved the fun intro! This is a great video. Love the work you're doing and thrilled to be a patreon of it
Much appreciated!
When showing the details of the Spider webbing, I was thinking of "Knight of the Juggernaut" when KITT's molecular shell was compromised.😄
LMAO, The intro with your kids was hilarious!
Awesome! The skit with the kids was hilarious!! Hahahah, very cool!! So good to see KITT and the Semi together!!
I liked the VGG shout-out in the middle!
It's nice to know that the Trans am it is a very noisy car it's lovely that you still have him and keeping Knight rider alive it's always amazing to watch these videos finding out about my favourite show that my mum introduced me to when I was 6 years old my mum managed to get me a couple of little model cars of kitt and kart which I buy of love to pieces cos my mum knows that I actually fell in love with the TV show I didn't watch the TV show for Michael night I actually washed it for the car alone
Haha nice, im a fan of vice grip garage too
Awesome video. Keep up the good work. Great to see KITT and the Semi united once again!
I spy with my motorcycle eye a Honda Hurricane and BMW K-bike at 7:03.
As a current K-bike owner I now must find this episode.
So cool for kitt the car
Lol I laughed when I saw the kid pushing the tire lol
Very cool collection, jealous with envy! Good luck on finding original trailer for the semi, would be a very exciting day
Too many great things about this video to mention them all but I must say that throwing the wheel cover frisbee and him pushing the turbocast wheel made me laugh!
I noticed that the rear hatch back glass is clear ( no defrost )
very rare... I wish I could afford KITT
Beautiful car that never loses it's image..
'84's where the nicest 3rd gens.. i had mouse crap/dead mice, snake skins and all sorts of bugs when i took apart my 78 TA that had been sitting behind a barn for 25 years...got rid of all interior and just left dash....1 year later it still smells
Always a big huge fan of Knight Rider here, and I keep telling myself that one day I will own one of those KITT cars too ! In the meantime, i will keep dreaming while watching your channel ;)
Brilliant job from Germany!
Great. video Joe.... I like how you persuaded your kids to participate. My nine year old daughter got a kick out of watching them. Thanks for everything you guys are doing.
cool seeing screen used kitt and semi reunited thank you for the update on the semi
Great reunion.💜💗👌👍 love all your work. Great job Joe. I totally appreciate your humor. 👍
Nice family and cool video. (Haha funny) thanks for the reunion.
I wish to drive a screen use KITT one day it is one of the knight raider dreams
So funny to watch you and your kids Joe.. who's the bigger ham? 😉😉 Awesome seeing KITT and the Semi back together, surreal! Love how the journey continues 😎👌
I have just reached the end of the third season. During one episode in particular, I noticed how bad the paint on K.I.T.T. was. Whenever the sun was shining on it, you can see all the bumps and scratches....
Absolutely love your update's on this project. Truly a labor of love in making it historically screen accurate. I was just wondering what your plans for the sleeper were? Do you plan on adding that after the suspension is restored, and obviously before you have it painted? Thank you. "One man can make a difference". Best regards, Ed
Yes, after the suspension gets fixed on the semi they are going to build the fake sleeper. They have the plans on the sleeper from the Vista Group's records they own. The semi series is my favorite videos to date, even over the Trans Am cars.👍
Hello from Phoenix Arizona!🔥
19:56 The legendary Derek of Vice Grip Garage
Thank you Joe
Look for a guy called Steering Wheel Bob, hes a national award winner with his resto work. Top notch! By the way did you guys buy the Knight Rider 2000 car from Video Bob? A pointer to remove the stinky smell is to wipe and clean everything with soap and water then dampen the area and sprinkle baking soda everywhere in the rig quite liberally. Wait a day for it to soak up all the nasty smell and dry out and then just vacuum it up!
Very iconic video Joe with kitt and the flag semi interesting information on kitt having multiple layers of paint and body filler and what George berris how he made the front nose for kitt the authentic tow bar and it was so cool you including your children on the video fantastic you never disappoint Joe thanks again
You r a proper Knight Rider fan (like me lol) you have inspired me to do the same thing! ish... Thanks so much!!
33:10 The Owl in the background, When you talking about the scnanner. (Or I think that is an Owl.) LOL...Awesome. :)
Might I suggest unveiling the semi (with KITT) at Buckingham Fountain in Chicago? OK, Nevermind - you’re not allowed to drive trucks on Lake Shore Drive...but you could take surface streets...KITT, plot me a course!
I'd love to see that car live that would be awesome 👌.
Before you reassemble the dash, I would recommend to look for all bearings anywhere reachable, like in the air handler motor. No better opportunity to service wear parts like now.
Thanks for the great video. Those gauges cleaned up great!
Loved to hear the original dash is going back in the theme park KITT!
As a former Brit, I was going to ask where you got a London Urchin from.
I guess I have some photos of this KITT version. I have sat in this one while on a business trip.
I do remember the panels were very dirty. I remember thinking they would have to replace them.
We would love to see them! Knightriderhistorians@gmail.com
Hello "Maestro" Knight-Rider. I love all your exciting videos and I can only pay the utmost respect. It was brilliant work, and there is a lot of passion and joy behind it. Keep up the good work and good luck with future projects. Thank you for showing us all this.
