And then to see two of my favourites, two extremely honest and genuine people who love each other honestly and deeply not together really hurts me. Best show ever! Cried because my baby was 2 weeks old when this show started and got me through a very difficult time. All my friends worked and I was home with a colic baby, and they all became my friends making me laugh and feel better for 10 years and three kids later! Thank you for being amazing and still making me cry happy tears 27 years later!

It was pretty obvious in, at least, seasins 1-3 that he and Rachel liked each other in real life. This is probably the healthiest, most professional, high-wattage chemistry working relationship on a TV sitcom. And why the hell, am I welling up?
David said in the first season they were crushing on each other. I find it very hard to believe it was only in the first season. It was pretty obvious in, at least, seasins 1-3 that he and Rachel liked each other in real life. And it’s possible those real life feelings extended through the whole series but just weren’t as obvious later on.

Honestly is sweet but sad at the same time. It breaks my heart heart knowing that they couldn’t live a true relationship so they lived it on stage. According to the director, Ben Winston, David has mentioned about this secret during a zoom call with him, which he also confirmed with Jen in a separate chat. He then asked David if they are ready to talk about it and said "I don't know, let's see".
