But, we got off to a hot start, great. Then, the team has a bad week of hockey (as every team will throughout the course of a season) and he sends out a memo with the message to the players being “Play well or I’m going to trade you.” And then he ships off our captain by essentially blackmailing him into waiving his trade clause and accepting a trade. In all his infinite wisdom, he thinks that decision is going to somehow not hurt or fracture the locker room. Now it feels like we’re a rebuilding team, because we have an incompetent leader at the helm. This team won the Presidents Trophy last year. Went to the Eastern Conference Final two out of the last three years. A bad week of hockey and the “change of direction” Chris Drury wants is to ship off, or at least threaten to ship off, all the guys who created our consistent success over the past four years. I can’t, with a good conscience, hold the players responsible for how they’ve been playing the past month. It’s got to be difficult to perform and do your job when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder to see if you’re getting traded or not. What an embarrassment of a GM he is. It’s at the point where I want to see guys get traded, just so they can get out of the most unhealthy organization in the league right now and get a fresh start. I’m happy Kaapo is going to have a chance to prove his skills elsewhere, because he deserves the opportunity. As for Will Borgen, he now has my undying support, but welcome to the shit show buddy.

Kakko is the same kind of mid the Kraken are used to, but he's a lot younger than some of their other mid. He'll be a great forechecker with Wright or maybe add some more defense on Stephenson's wing
