They're not grafted that I know of. I planted 2 different vines, but they're about 4ft apart; one one each side of the arch. They definitely commingle at the top of the arch, so I assume the roots have crossed paths as well. I was quite shocked to see two very different grapes in the same bunch!
LOL that is funny ! I got a grape plant this year but probably wont see any grapes til next year ... never heard of 2 kinds on 1 vine but not surprised ...even some heirloom seeds seem to be all mixed up lol i did hear that peppers need to ripen & turn red for the seeds to be good to save but havent tried it yet so not sure !
It was definitely interesting to see 2 different grapes in the same bunch, and the taste difference was quite noticeable. I once planted some seeds from green peppers I bought at the store; just to see what would happen. It was a few years ago, but I think they grew and produced...I'll need to try again.
Great harvest ! 🩷
Thanks 👍 I'm pretty happy with it!

Hi Lorrie
Hi Howie! Thanks for stopping by!
Oh wow!!! I didn’t know grapes could cross.
I didn't either! Can't wait to see what happens next year. 😀
It’s gardening Lorrie. Anything is possible! 😂
LOL...Too true Jan!
When you bury the squash vines this may give more and bigger . Try next year as it is late now
Good to know! Thanks Howie.
Nice harvest! Good to see all is well❤
Thanks so much Jenn.
I guess anything is possible with cross pollination from the bees or even the wind. 😍
That's what I'm thinking!

Grapes store in the crisper for a few months
Good to know
Is that grape vine grafted? If so, could you be getting grapes from both the graft and the rootstock?
