There's a song that you got to listen to it's call Rowdy Rowdy by 50
Why I thought Rotten Apple was on this album
I Totally Agree.
You forgot to credit Black Child btw.
@@jayc5756 Dark child is trackmaster playboy he was with their production team trackmaster
@@kingday2424 Black Child...from Murder Inc bruh. Before they fought and was beefing. Dude said it in the video already anyway, so it is what it is.
This was supposed to be his debut album. But he got shot and was dropped from the label. Him having destiny's child means that song was supposed to be a hit single for the album
Right an to ad on this the time him and nas was cool and track master did both of they albums. Also the track masters was puffy producers.

Classic album, people need to stop hating and saying that 50 has one classic.
50 was supposed to go shoot the video for the destiny’s child song a week after he got shot.
50 was a real rapper… deserves his spot as a legend
Hi, I come from Germany and I associate something very emotional with this album. My uncle used to go on business trips to New York a lot. We both really enjoyed listening to American rap back then. When my uncle came back from New York one day, he brought me a copy of this album.
I absolutely loved this album. 50 Cent's flow was unique at the time. About a year later "In da Club" was released in Germany and I was shocked because 50 Cent's voice was different. I learned that he was shot in the face and that's why his voice changed.
"The Power of the Dollar" is, in my opinion, an absolute masterpiece. I still listen to the album regularly today. For me it is one of the best albums of all time.
Review Guess Who's back mixtape next
Fact
Masterpiece
Check it Out!
yeah its got the best couple songs from this plus all the good stuff that got 50 hot, this was like his warm up, learn how to rap in the studio kinda almost a practice album since it never got a proper release
Straight classic! That’s when i became a 50 fan!🔥🔥🔥
Witness the power of 50! U should do the mixtapes too! 50’s catalog is something else
My brother went down to New York City and bought this for $5 on the corner. When he brought it back to the Roc we lost our minds. We knew he was going to be the next great hip hop artist. This was like 99 I think
Me too I’m in Binghamton I recorded this on several tapes so I never lost it!!!CLASSIC!!!
The album was underground cause it never got officially released...but yeah, he was signed to Trackmasters/Columbia. I think Destiny's Child was on Columbia too.
So this is his 1st album...but not his debut album, cause wasnt officially released. Like Em 1st album is Infinite, but wasnt commercially released, so his debut is Slim Shady LP. 50 Cent official debut album is GRODT.
He released 3 singles off of this. Life's On The Line. How To Rob...tò generate a little buzz for him..and Thug Love. Im guessing once they did the video and pushed it, they wouldve released the album....but him getting hit got them scared, so he got dropped and album got shelved. And he was blackballed by Irv Gotti...along with ppl fearing to work with him cause his real serious street beef. Em didnt care. Took his mixtape to Dre and said He It. So the rest is history.
That's exactly what I was about to say to you my guy, he has more of a Jay z type style back then. It was like he was talking to you only rapping with it
More like a hybrid of Jay Z/Nas!!!
Mann, you are right. Everybody know hes the Goat with hooks...but yeah youre right...he is a underrated storytelling rapper.
Slow Doe and Power of the Dollar are easily my two favorite 50 songs.
The track with Destiny's Child, Sheek Louch used that beat to diss 50 Cent on called *Clickery Clank*
Yeah. Lol 😂
That means they did their research and listened to all his material and decided to use that beat
🙏
I grew up with 50 on 134 guy brewer southside jamaica Queens...he was official in the streets from 15/16 yrs old.
You gotta react to more lloyd banks too lil homie 👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Dope jacket! Love that movie
* This was his first album that never officially came out. 50 made some noise with How to Rob and Your Life’s on the Line in 1999. The next single was supposed to be Thug Love ft Destiny’s Child, which they were about to shoot a video for days after he got shot. After the shooting his label dropped him, his buzz died down and his career got put on hold. Once he recovered, 50 started started his insane mixtape run in about 2001. When Wanksta dropped in summer of 2002, 50 became the hottest rapper without having an album out. That same summer he signed to Shady/ Aftermath. And the rest is history.
I believe he got signed before Wanksta came out bro. That was on that Eminem 8 Mile soundtrack.
It would be cool if 50 made a song using AI to make his voice sound like it did before he got shot for the first verse and the second will be 50 now talking to his younger self
“Things that’ll happen if they say I can’t eat, down go the window, out come the heat…” that been in my head for over 20 years.
The Mad Rapper aka D-Dot is also a very accomplished producer. Hes behind bangers, like "how to rob", "24 hrs to live", "all about the benjamins", "money, power, respect", "been around the world", "jayz - where im from", "black rob - whoa"....i can keep goin. Check out his interview on My Expert Opinion
First time I ever heard 50 was his to rob on the Madd Rapper album. Em was on that too (stir crazy) before him and 50 ever met.
Album is a classic 🔥 🔥
Bun B is highly underrated man. Ridin Dirty is an absolute classic UGK album.
Banger album my favorite 50
The difference is 20-30 years ago that shit would get you shot. The whole world is different now. When that song came out Supreme Team was still very much active.
🔥 we need that gunit beg for mercy album
I met 50 in Baltimore last lap tour took pic with him last year
Guess Who’s Back next please
His best project next to grodt
What belt are u? I’m white
Im pleasantly surprised by this 1 right here bro.
Next Mixtape Definitive Guess Who's Back 50 Cent.
for real the demo is fire
The main stream media missed out on the lyrical 50 cent. His flow was so cold 🥶🥶🥶
In regards to the as the world tunes song and how sounded… 50’s grandparents are from the Carolina’s so his southern slang he uses at times comes from the house he grew up in he was one of the only New York dudes saying “finna” and the pimp lingo comes from him being around one of his og’s “mike” who was a pimp.
If I was Fif I would re-release this album 💿.
Columbia Records owns the rights. So basically Tommy Mottola.
He can do what Ashanti did and rerelease it with slight changes. She had Irv Gotti tight with that move! 💯
You got to do his Guess who’s back mixtape. That’s where his mixtape run started. No one had a mixtape run like him
This was MY first time hearing this album! 50 was a PROBLEM! I'm mad I slept on this!
Review some E-Money Bags! He did a lot with Prodigy, Nas, Noreaga, Tupac. True street legend that also rhymed.
I played this album constantly back on the day.
Ghetto Quaran, How to Rob, I'm a hustler, Corner bodega, etc. fire tracks. His voice is different because it was before he got shot in his face and his voice and flow changed a little after. This is an underrated album 💯🔥 I think a couple of tracks from here were used on GRODT album. You gotta do next the 8 mile soundtrack (16 tracks) Em and 50 says some wild stuff on that album.
50 top 5 dead or alive no question
50 in my top 5💯
Gun runner was the start of me being a 50 fan
It's a Hit was my first time hearing 50 🔥🔥🔥
Next should b muddy waters redman
"50 cent is my symbol and my name, symbolizing the change that im bringing to the game" ... so fucking hard bar, im sad you skipped that ahaha
You gotta do 50 cent guess who’s back it’s an album but really a mix tape right after he got shot and before he signed with Eminem
FYI 50 grandparents from the south so yes that's why his lingo and accent is a lil southern
Classic
This album is underrated af
Man trackmaster 50 was 🔥
As far as I know the real reason 50 cent got shot was his beef with ja rule. Supreme of the Supreme Team was involved in the murder inc label and he let 50 multiple times know to stop playing with his bread, but 50 didn't gave a fuck.
The Power of the Dollar Album is easily in his top 3 albums. 50 Cent doesn't get the credit he deserves. They always think because of his mainstream hits he's wack and dont know about his early stuff or his mixtape era. The 50 before he got shot was more aggressive and had a way colder flow, but 50 after he got shot was dope too and he's one of the best songwriters we've ever had in rap!
Gotta do 50s guess who's back mixtape
Ghetto Quran is a classic and it was part of the reason. He named every criminal from Queens on there. 😂😂
This is 50 best album a few songs on Get Rich Or Die Trying came off this album this album is an underground classic
This is how he rapped before he got shot after that they dropped him from the label where he did power of the dollar and took it off the shelves, but he can't rap like that anymore cause after the shoooting he has a bullet fragment in his tongue so he had to rap slower and change the way he rapped for it to sound good.
Guess who’s back and the massacre, even 50 cent is the future
If I was supreme, I would’ve been pissed about Ghetto Quaran
The beats on this album are fire, this album is so New York, his best work imo.
Need to react to “Guess who’s back” mixtape 🔥
Cypress Hill 1st album is fire pls react
Classic album, people need to stop hating and saying that 50 has one classic.
Yeah, this definitely before he got shot bro. He got shot on his way to shoot the Thug Love video.
"Ghetto Qu'ron" was the real reason he was shot cuz they said he was snitchin in this song...... this is my all time classic from him
This 50 was better than Nas and Jay
Same level
I can’t speak for Jay, but I can speak for 50. We grew up together and he was down for all the smoke! 50, Mutt, Kev Brock (RIP), Whitey (RIP)! Those were the days.
GOD Bless fam 🙏
Keep in mind, while they did have some hits, this was still fairly early for Destiny's Child, dont think about who Bey is today. They were on their 2nd album. Around that same time, they featured on Cam's 2nd album, which Cam references on his Jay-Z diss "You Gotta Love It." Before that, they were on Silk the Shocker's 2nd album, so they were making their rounds. I believe Cory Rooney, who's also from out here (Southside), excutive produced the album, and he has industry connects, along with Trackmasters, who made majority of the beats.
The crazy fact about this was supposed to be debut album and 50 was supposed to do thug love ft destiny child video two days before he got shot which set to be canceled cause of his absence for being in the hospital
This was #1 bootlegged album in the streets
Man, plz look at
Shabazz the disciple - crime saga
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
50 sounds so different. 😆
I was rolling this album prior to 50 blowin with get rich or die tryin, . Nobody in my area had ever heard of him at that point. . This was hard tho.
he have a demo tape bro like 96"97 i guess you should check it out thanks 🙏🏿
50 was on fire when he got shot. That not only messed up his deal but it also messed up ghostwriting gig he had with Diddy. Diddy got spooked and said he couldn’t work with him anymore. That’s why 50 was talking so reckless when he crawled back.
Sounds like it was straight off Reasonable Doubt.
8:32 Um because he was shot in the face!! Lol
React to “Ain’t No Click” by Lloyd banks & Yayo that song is 🔥
FUN FAKT: BLACKCHILD OF MURDA INC IS THE OTHER VOICE ON GUN RUNNER
You doin gods work. 🫡
Do 50 cent (Guess who's back).
Yo this is dope but you gotta check out Guess Who’s Back. 50 came back after getting shot on a fucking mission! He was a legend off that shit before ever getting with Em and Dre. 50 was really undeniable. He’s honestly criminally underrated theses days.
This was supposed to be his first album through Columbia. Had a legit coming soon ad in Vibe and the Source. His buzz was on top at the time, but when he got shot, Tommy Mottola had to drop him. 50 reminded the record company of Tupac, too much of a liability. That's when Eminem said he.was a big fan of 50 and got him signed to Aftermath, thus Get rich or die trying.
he switched his style because one of the bullets hit his cheek and his voice was different after that.
you should check out StompDaShitOutChu CNN (Capone and Noreaga) and M.O.P.
EDIT: "I'm about a dollar what the fuck is 50 cent" Jay-z... check out Stir Crazy, Madd Rapper and Eminem
Sounds like Mase
React to Get rich die tryng by 50 cent
Ahmad you gotta react to Clipse - Popular Demand and Clipse - Wamp Wamp if you can
Gotta do the Madd Rapper's album. And all the skits beforehand 😂. Definitely a solid album though. A LOT of features.
Do 50 is the future mixtape reaction
Bro you have to react to Juvenile ft Wayne - G Code
You got to do Aaliyah first album Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number it would be nice to do it with Mom Dukes written and produced by R. Kelly except At Your Best by The Isley Brothers
Lmao Wayne Wayne songs was for the moment they don’t stand the test of time
You wanna hear UGK get CRAZY wit the flow, check out "Murder" off their Ridin Dirty album. FIRE!!!!
Fuckin heat. You gotta do some Main Source bro
This was a album
30:12 - FACT: Can't say Nore stumbled across this flow because it's ALL him (much like ODB). You'll be surprised how many TRIED to emulate Nore and was influenced by his flow during that era. I could give specific examples. Note: CNN x Mobb Deep x 25 to Life (Tragedy Khadafi and his movement) all original sound crews out of Queens that don't get spotlighted enough BUT possibly the heaviest influence/threat in the 90's.
P.S. that beat was influenced by the CNN (25-to-life) sound. A no-brainier or deliberate intent to feature Nore.
Bro listen to “it’s all real” by epidemic u won’t regret that shit trust 🔥
Please do 50 cent is the future
You gotta react to Lox- Chest to Chest
Good brother 🤝🏾
Check out 8ball & MJG on top of the world album
Do 50 cent get rich or die trying full album reaction next
Bro the radio cuts.......... Get rich or Die Tryin is a classic at least listen to the entire thing once.
Jay-Z responded to "How to Rob" by saying "I'm about the dollar, who the f is 50 Cent". When 50 saw him, he thanked him. Jay-Z then laughed, cause he knew he got hustled into putting 50's name out there.
Jay z is overrated, out here in south africa nobody plays him, new York over hypes him
@@laydonmartin8729 His prime hits were also over 20 years ago.
Krs one song called ruff ruff 🔥🔥😅
Man stop playing Schoolboy Q Blue Lips album that dropped this year is the best album ever heard it changed my life I love that album no skips
what you know about power of the dollar??🔥🔥🔥🔥
