    Best battery pack ever released by any company period,LFP battery packs have much longer battery life compared with traditional NCM ternary battery cells, almost double of what ternary NCM pack has to offer in terms of battery life and degradation rate, and almost like an internal combustion engine car,and LFPs are really much safer, what always had hold back LFP battery was 150 to 160 wh/kg in pack level energy density, shenxing plus has changed the game for ever with 205 wh/kg in pack level energy density,it is by far highest ever in the industry, it does even surpass 95% of traditional ternary packs in the market, very very well done CATL,you have done an amazing job for humanity and ev transportation industry,ev makers should appreciate your amazing hard work in development of the best battery pack ever

      @@erhan3259yes, with condensed 260 wh/kg cells and 205 wh/kg pack level,a 140 kwh pack will weigh 681 kg,which is only 40 kg heavier than an average 100 kwh pack in the market,so an ev with 2100 kg weight can easily go 621 miles of range with 140 kwh shenxing plus

      @@erhan3259It is probably based on the very optimistic Chinese CLTC standard, which means maybe 700km/750km WLTP and, in real good conditions, maybe ~500km+ range for a car with maybe a 100kWh battery pack, driving intercity at speed 90km/h…
      All very approximative speculations because there are multiple factors that influence driving range…

    Congratulations CATL for the Shenxing Plus Battery !! It's really a before and after, in the EV industry. LFP with good energy density, high power charging, less performance loses with cold, longer longevity. And of course, using LFP, less critical materials, and less carbon footprint in the process !!

    Thanks, good to know there is better choice battery, where to find more statistics about prices and so on, there is always pros and cons to consider, for example 5 min replaceable battery charged on overnight prices and waiting warm hard to beat for some cases to be like champion

      Did you not see the bold claim that 1/3rd of ALL evs sold in 2023 had a catl pack underneath them?
      Tesla has had up to 49% of their evs use catl pack's since late 2021 now! 👍🏻😀

      @@4literv6 Hi, thanks for the comment, but I think, that Most of the Catl Customers still use the old battery and not the new shengxing. The only car I know is the updated zeekr 001 using this new battery. Am I wrong?

      @@ZeusOlymp-fy2kx didn't it just make series high volume production recently? I'd imagine it's going to proliferate exponentially from today!

    3:28 Lifespan up to 8 years????? And 800 000km? So 100 000km/ year? Does not make sense. 8 years lifespan is ridiculously low. My chevy volt NMC is now 10 years old now and i still get 10.2 out of 10.5kWh out of it. I hope your 8 years number is wrong because the rest is impressive. For instance, the ping lfp ebike battery I assembled for my familly 14 years ago still get 78% capacity.

      @LithiumBatteryGuy 17 днів тому +4

      pretty sure that is the warranty period, not the likely actual lifespan.

      800,000 km is equivelant to 25 years of an average ev user, this 8 years is for some one like ataxi driver or commercial use of an ev,

      I'm not sure if you know but there has been data published looking at the Tesla cars.
      Model 3 and Y and S and X all have various batteries inside.
      The data shows that they all usually loose a certain percentage every year. But there is some outliers in the data.
      This is because batteries are not perfect and they don't just last an exact number of cycles or years.
      They degrade to use and lack of use. They like to be used regularly but not put under strain. They don't like to be fast charged often. They don't like cold or hot. And so on and so on.

    I think this may be why Elon just canned the whole super charger build out team.
