Can you please explain when did you use soda ash ?
    Also
What is your chem water recipe?
How much dye you use in those small needle bottles?

@@Chandanisingh92 absolutely. The part where I am misting/ spraying with the pump sprayer is where the soda ash is used. The shirt is pre washed & dried the tied and dyed completely dry with a relatively concentrated dye mix. The. Immediately after dyeing I make a soda ash solution that is 1 cup soda ash dry to 4 cups water and heat it to about 150 (no hotter or you risk damaging the dry molecules in some colors) and start with a light mist than a heavy mist than I take the spray tip of and finish with a full heavy spray. Then if there are no thick folds or tight ties the dye will immediately cure and you can begin rinsing and washing within minutes if it’s thick of tightly tied it good to let the soda ash solution soak in for at least 30 minutes to an hour if not overnight to allow the soda ash to reach the deeper layers. The chem water is just tap water mixed with urea also about 1 cup dry urea granules to 4 cups water and sometimes a bit of sodium alginate for a thickener (in this case only for the black). Lastly those little dry bottle hold roughly 1/2 cup of liquid dye each but with this many colors I only use a little of each color (except black I use a decent as of due to the blackout background) so I try and use the rest up on other projects within a few days and keep it in a mini fridge to help its chances of staying good.

@@Chandanisingh92 you’re welcome. I mix it by the 1/2 cup (236.588 ml) and use about 3 slightly heaping tsps of dry powder unless I want a light or pastel color then I’ll use less (sometimes a lot less depending on the color and shade).

@@polarbear-yf7qr I certainly do but just to clarify they are all one of a kind handmade originals (no prints) and this one hasn’t been loaded up quite yet. It’s also my first mushroom shirt so far. I load them up as I make them more or less (within a day or two usually). And the prices vary based on the time and materials into each piece ranging from as low as around $30 to up to several hundred. This particular shirt having around 9.5 hour into it would be about $285 once you include tax and shipping. I’m working on another similar one in the same size but it’ll have the same design front and back so it’ll will theoretically go a bit faster and end up at a lower price point but I haven’t started folding it up quite yet so we’ll see. I am also available for custom orders if you’re interested in different sizes, design tweaks etc bearing in mind of course that there is always someone variability so while a design can be repeated to an extent there are never exact copies. Let me know if you’re interested.
