Great video, i have a 2004 600 no modes though and no ABS, i'm in Scotland, the training and tests are a lot different here in the UK (lot more expensive too : /), i still struggled a bit with it after passing, mainly stalling it a lot as i was frightened to rev it, also dropped it a couple of times due to the limited steering lock (luckily no damage), love it now though, second year of riding i've now got a 06 Hayabusa which is amazing, still keeping the Gixxer though.
Yesssss stalling I had a huge problem with that in the beginning until I watched vids on how to not stall and just kept practicing. How has the Hayabusa been treating you? That’s a big upgrade lol
@@flylifegreg4397 The Hayabusa is a big pussycat, it's lovely to ride, like any other bike if you keep the revs under 6K it's fine, let the motor spin up and all hell breaks loose but it's very controllable, lot's of low down torque so it will pull away just on idle (making it hard to stall), also it's so long geared you can shift down into 1st at 20 mph, because of the weight it's very stable, the low seat suits me too as i'm 5'7", honestly surprised how easy the big beast is to ride.
I look at this bike a few months and i like the style of it. Considering of getting this bike as my first bike since im going to be a beginner but im going to take the MSF class first.
@@mikeanderson2152 It took some getting use to because it’s more hunched over then a Ninja 650 but my first day I purchased it I rode it 2hrs home and after the first hour the seat became uncomfortable.
My wife has a 07' gsxr 600 and its stretched. I have a 2017 ninja 650. I love my bike but I love riding hers. Hers is lighter and a bit faster...... I'm thinking about getting a 750.
I started on a SV650 (same engine config. 650 twin, nice and torquey but a little boring) and after a year got a GSXR750. No regrets, its awesome. Suzuki hasn't updated the gixxer line in like 10 years but I like that about it, tried and true.
@@flylifegreg4397thats a long trip. In the south the only thing bike dealerships have are scooters, hayabusas, and side by sides. The local Honda car dealership here have about 20 new cars and a big empty parking lot.

ya know, not everyone is in to whatever kind of "music" that was, especially AS YOU'RE TALKING...so if you want more subs, I suggest ditching the the crap background music, and you will get a more broad spectrum of people that will come back to your videos, but if you don't believe me, then just keep repeating the same, obvious mistakes...

Just my personal opinion a 600 after a month is boring. A 1000 you don't have to ride flat out but it's more value for money you won't want to go bigger any time soon
Just bought one tonight Broski.
2009 GXSR 600 8,245 Miles paid $5k
Bike is MINT I’m so souped. Lol 😂 watching mad videos. ✔️💯😂✌🏽
Good review, hit the nail on the head describing that bike! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks, will do!

Definitely a good choice! I took the MSF Class back in June it definitely helps out a lot. I had zero experience with riding
