I'm not sure of how this works, but don't the gold medalists of the the junior get to compete in a big senior competition? Previously, before seeing the dates, I assumed that gold medalist juniors would get to skate in the senior GP final. As these are on the same days, I assume it's the championships, that they get admitted to? Perhaps I'm wrong about it all, but if there's anyone who understands, I'd be very grateful for your knowledge!
There are separate finals for junior and senior GP circuit: those best 6 qualifiers from each discipline throughout junior GP series this year will participate in junior GPF, same goes to qualifiers from senior GPs.
Both finals are happening at the same time (usually first week of December) and I the same location (Beijing, China this year).
The ISU should do something in advance to prevent METELKINA/BERULAVA from being exposed again on the international video footage of them being denied a hug on the podium. This is not an issue that can be simply dismissed as "it can't be helped".
When was it?
Nobody is required to receive a hug on the podium. The athletes can do it if both parties are comfortable with hugging. It isn't a worldwide embarrassment and the end of their lives if a hug doesn't happen. Be so for real rn.

ISU please don’t act as if you care for your juniors skaters, giving how ridiculous the venues budgets, stream quality and rules fairness are. Start by living in the 21st century and allowing junior ladies to jump a solo 3A in their short.
