Help me shape this series in the Future! What things do you consider when choosing which zoos to visit?
Things I prioritize the most when deciding whether or not to visit a new zoo: 1. Accreditation, which usually goes hand-in-hand with their quality of animal care 2. Amount of unique animals to be found there 3. Amount of unique theming/displays for the animals
Thank you so much for explaining your reasons. You’re a great person. I would love to cover this zoo one day. To answer your question, one of the things I consider are rare animals that I may never see again.
Thanks for covering my local zoo! I agree with the reasons you've given. Smaller zoos are much more convenient to visit as you don't have to plan a whole day there like I do for larger zoos. The zoo does have a great atmosphere and it's very nostalgic for me since it's my local zoo plus the zoo is hardly ever crowded (at least when I visit). Im really excited to see what this zoo has in store for the future!
The Masterplan looks very exciting. I'm curious where the new Lion exhibit will go, and what kind of domino effect it will have on the current Feline exhibits.
@@DereksZooVideos0118 in my opinion they should remove the camel rides area and make it into a new exhibit. Also I think part of the bongo habitat is going to be turned into the new lion exhibit

I would love for the zoo to have Tasmanian devils and wolverines. Not many zoos have those animals.
All of them but realistically I want to see the wolverine the most since you know, it's Michigan. Also I would love to see Tasmanian devils as well.
They could add Red River hogs to the okapi exhibit
Rarely seen species, good exhibits and interesting exhibit designs are the most important reasons makingb me want to go to a particular zoo.
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I definitely look for rare animals too, I have a few zoos I want to visit specifically for one or two animals.
