I really enjoy these analysis videos, regardless of the game or genre your analysis videos always bring new insights and help me to find more things in games to appreciate. I haven’t seen you on my feed in about 2 weeks so idk what is going on with the algorithm but I’m happy I have videos to binge and catch up on this coming Sunday off.
Thank you for continuing to bring the signature dltf/overcome hatred style of analysis man. It’s so valuable for gaming to have insightful thoughtful voices like yours 🎉

Thanks for your kind words I appreciate your support. I'm not sure why but my videos stopped getting recommended to people. It could be because I took a 10 day break. I was sick and couldn't make videos or upload. 🙏

@ see I don’t like that. I think if you are subscribed to a channel they should work even harder to make sure your videos are seen. It feels like if you weren’t one of the people I enjoy most on the platform and I hadn’t looked at your channel myself I might have gone even longer without seeing your videos promoted and that feels counterproductive to a friendly end user experience.
UA-cam should see that I comment like and share your videos more often than I do other channels and then say “okay well we need to keep DLTF videos on her feed at all times”. But I think a big issue is a lot of the algorithms are being handle by programs now and not teams of people with that nuanced insight into human behavior.

@@censheard7019 I completely agree with you on this and I don't know why UA-cam does this but it's been very noticeable the last few years. I know that UA-cam's goal is to keep people on the platform as long as possible to increase watch time and they usually just recommend what they think is very popular or has hype cycles surrounding a video or video topic. It really is odd that you can have over 3500 subscribers and the platform stops recommending videos to 99% of people who have supported you or watched many of your videos. It feels like it isn't you tube lack of emphasis on the you any more as much as it is recommend tube. They should probably change their name to ReccomendTube since when you go and watch videos random videos will be recommended based off of what I mentioned earlier that have nothing to do with what you wanted to watch or with what you have watched in the past.
I think you're right UA-cam should put more weight and emphasis on people who comment and on comments in general. It takes a lot for someone to comment as well unless it is a hot topic video. And you are right yet again I think that the algorithms are 100% being handled by programs and AI. Even I had a copy right claim once that was an extremely weak claim where the person had maybe 12% claim to my video and the rest of my video was transformative and had nothing to do with the person. The person harassed me and made me delete the video. It was my viral Momoshiki video and when I quotes re made the video It just died and never got traction again. There was no one for me to contact to take up the nuanced problem with and I had to just delete the video or have my channel deleted with in a certain amount of days. The program used was an AI program that thought I copied someone else's video. I have had many claims come up where the AI program thought people have copied my video and it allowed me to do the same to have a forced take down of their videos or even delete their channel and I never perused it once. Reason being that I could tell that the videos they made were not re uploads or copies but instead content creators making content and it was transformative. I"m not so sure having AI everywhere is a good idea.

@@DontLoseToFear I have noticed that shift starting back in like 2017/18 that UA-cam was doing more of this reccomending videos that aren’t related to the niche I’m watching at all just because they are popular but it’s no longer once in a while, like you said the emphasis on the you in UA-cam is all but gone in terms of how they promote creators and with content generation farms it’s muddied the waters even more. Major respect for you fighting through that bs because I’m sure many days it feels like thankless work.
