I was gonna share a tip on farming "said item" in South limgrave but this way is better. However for those players who are farming next to the Fourth church of marika proceed east from the site of grace towards the weeping evergaol then head northwest. You will find a pathway, with a crimson scarab, leading to the beach front. Honestly I have acquired more four toed fowl foot in the least amount of time farming at the 4th church of marika with 99 in arcane and a silver scarab. Although flight pinion would be more convenient to farm for at "below the well" site of grace
@Anthony Yadayada After doing some testing/observation of my own, I have to agree with you. I'm going for the Feet and while the video makers farming spot IS closest to a site of grace, the drop rate for Feet from the birds there is pretty shabby. The route that you suggest on the beach IS by FAR much better for farming Feet. The birds there have a much higher drop rate for the item (feet), and while they don't always drop them the average is much better. On the beach there are 17 birds and I averagely get between 4-8 Feet. The least being 2, (uncommon), and the most thus far 12. Going the Video Creators spot (Below the Well Grace) there were often times where I would kill 2-3 rounds of birds after resting and never see a Foot dropped once. However yes, they do drop lot's of Pinons there, which I personally don't want/need.
If you have good stats in Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence, I recommend using General Radahn's swords. You don't have to spend runes on arrows and it's faster than shooting arrows. Just walk up behind the eagles and use the Starcaller Cry weapon art. It takes out the first four in one use and it takes out the last two in one use as well. Plus it looks awesome!
@@lucithedemonminer Any shortbow should have barrage on it by default. Honestly though man just grab hoarfrost stomp and throw it on literally any weapon and use that then you don't need arrows and its even faster
Great guide. I have one little refinement that might be of use for those who don't use a bow. Use the falling star beast jaw special attack. If you use it correctly, they wont fly off. Target the middle of the 3 first, then the one behind it. Then the other two on the opposite side. I ran out of arrows farming feet and tried it. I had pretty good luck with it too. Attack from behind the group of 4 and go counter clockwise. If you attack the group of two first, one of the 3 will fly off. Then when you attack the two that didn't fly off, the 4th one behind them will fly off. If you go counter clockwise though, they just take it like when you use the bow. You can also use the lightning spear incantation if you are attacking from the back. Rarely you will loose one to flight.
Something else I just found out is if you use the Ash of War: Hoarfrost Stomp...the birds won't fly away if you sneak up and behind the furthest right one...this makes getting these feet even faster...you helped me so hope I helped you!
This is great and I don't think anyone has mentioned this spot before. Although I tried it for about 30 min and it doesn't seem as efficient as hoarfrost stomp at the impassible great bridge. But to be fair I don't use the mask and only use silver picked fowl feet half the time.

This is wrong, I'm sorry. Maybe at the time of filming, but I've been here to try it. 4 towed fowl doesnt drop much. Best place I've seen so far is near the beach at the fourth church of Marika. Thank you for the barrage tip on bow though. Didn't even know about that.
On the coast of fourth church of marika,down near the all the zombies, theres a bunch of penguins, like 17 of them that i get alot of the 4 toed fowl feet,if u go up the hill towards the tower of return,u can also farm gold fireflies as well as farm roowa fruit around the area

1. Go to Fourth Church of Marika in the Southern Peninsula 2. Equip a bow with barrage, silver tear mask, arrows's reach talisman and silver fowl foot in consumables. 3. Run NW to the ledge near the arch and drop down 2 ledges 4. Eat the foot 5. Stand near the log and shoot 16-17 penguins, killing any stragglers while riding torrent collecting the loot. I got my best time down to 50 seconds.
Very nice video :) But Maths show that the amount of time spent for farming Gold-Pickled generate less runes than the amount of time spent for farming without it (at NG+7). You need 1 min for 1 Gold-Pickled and have 3 mins of 30% runes more ~ 1 mil runes in 4 mins. It's less than farming in 4 mins without the Gold-Pickled :)

wtf ive got max arcane and a silver beetle, Ive been trying to farm the celebrants rake which has failed but then even with 274 discovery, when I kill these birds they almost never drop the four toed fowl foot
Great vid! I made a few adjustments of my own - I use a staff and Adula's Moonblade spell and then I kill the 2 birds on the left first. Then when facing west make sure to target lock the 3rd bird so the spell hits all 4 of them.
Even with 320 discovery I may get lucky if get 1 out of all eagles becase it's always just high pinion. The drop rate is only 8% Was so much faster for me to just run to the shore and snipe a bunch of penguins which are 25% drop rate. The church grace is right there, just just jump through the wall crack near Marika statue, gallop straight through the trees on the cliff (picking 3 bushes of rowa fruit on your way) and drop down right on the shore.

Definitely an efficient way to kill a bunch of eagles, but penguins drop four toed feet at a MUCH higher rate.

Yeah, cause took me a while to find a bow with barrage and even longer to get the AoW for it. Regardless, definitely the best spot.

You need to level up you're Arcane skill the higher you're item discovery the higher chance you will get the four toed foul foot

At the bottom of Godricks Great Rune tower, there’s about 20-30 birds. Kill them with a bow from range so that the rest don’t get spooked

Came across so thought I'd comment. My best is Impassable Greatbridge. The 3 penguins drop at about 4x the rate from my experience.
Those birds , eagles and pinguines dont drop four toed fowl foot for me for some reason , instead they drop flight pinion lol
