- With the launch of Season 22, Bungie added one of the BEST All black shaders in Destiny 2, but unfortunately we didn't get the chance to earn it (or keep it at all in the game lol)

The name of the shader implies something other than black, so i think it's probablya UI bug that included that shader without any actual texture file behind it, making it look black on accident.
Phosphorescent does sound like a shader that can at least change colours. It would be cool to have more shaders like that.

Veil Containment does not have any weapons from the concept art showed in game this season. We got Epochal Integration last season when the mission launched, but missing four ish other weapons now. Bungie gave notice to this back in March and showed that the hand cannon would be a reward from Veil Containment. Guess the other stuff was too much to handle.
We still don’t have the breech loaded grenade launcher the titan was holding.
@@turtlemasteralpha3320 Yeah, or the rocket launcher on the back, an auto rifle, a different pulse rifle, and something on the hunter's back either a sword or a linear fusion maybe.
Truth told, I think the cover art weapons Bungie showed for the Lightfall Trailers/Teasers were going to be the Neomuna weapons, but for whatever reason, they removed those (except the hand cannon) and reworked the Moon weapons for Neomuna.
I don't mind only because it's cute that the Neomuni wouldn't need old relics like Guardians would want (lore wise), but it is disappointing that Bungie backed out from what was possibly way cooler weapons for Lightfall.
Oh yes the thing that everybody has been asking for forever isn't supposed to be in the game and is being removed. Great job Bungie

People need to stop paying money for shaders. The only way greed goes away is if it’s not fed at all
@@MM-he2iq Well obviously it just being obtainable through gameplay is preferred, I've just ran into several situations personally where having a monochrome shader would've helped a lot, and if it were to turn up in the Bright Dust store eventually, like the previously silver-only shaders have been recently, I'd totally grab it.

There is more to the story, they said its a non shader. Basically it is a placeholder for when an armor hasn't been shaded yet.

I’m pretty sure black is literally just the default colour without any sort of shading besides the original set of the armor/ornament set. The shader doesn’t have any textures in the preview either.

there are other gambit shaders more worth grinding for than that. Having all-black as a shader is just kinda boring, If I want to add colour to armour or weapons, I want to make it vibrant and/or a cool combination of colours, all-black is just kinda dull

Daily reminder that they deliberately make hundreds of shaders they know look awful to artificially inflate the value of the few decent ones that exist. Just one more layer of scummy tactics on top of an exceptionally thick onion of disappointment. Don't trick yourself into thinking they don't know the community wants all black, all white, or shaders with metallic trims. They do. They're just going to string it out for years and make you pay for them. Anything to prolong waning interest or milk a few more bucks.
