This guy had to literally battle life and the streets at the same time. He fought a great war and made through a lot of shit that would have anybody asking how this man made it that far.
Let's celebrate his life and that way P will never really be gone, that's how legends remain legends from one generation to another. Take the jewels this man has given you and make him proud when he greets you at those gates.

There are so many verses that P has that still make me wonder .....how did u think of that. I remember just going from the Infamous to Hell on Earth and then Murda Muzik and cringing like this dude is sick. Even Havoc got some joints. Even the Nobody Likes Me Everybody Hates Me song on the Violator LP was sick. There is a reason why the Wu, Pun, Pete Rock and mad spitters and DJ's scooped P for verses. Even Def squad admitting how I'll he is after all these years. Every movie soundtrack had a Mobb Deep song also.

He was a handful as a child, really smart, funny, a wise guy and a lil spoiled (a lot…lol) but he suffered a lot of pain from sickle cell. He went to private school, danced in the dance studio in Jamaica Queens w/Gmom and watched MJ’s “Thriller” almost every single day after school and on weekends! He was small as a child, but had A LOT of heart and never backed down from any challenge. Buddy, (Dad) had a good heart but was not one to play with. He was in the doo-wap group “The Chanters,” he was educated in psychology and even worked as a professor at Nassau Community College. He was also a computer specialist working with IBM at his time of death. He was the definition of “Loyalty,” in ways that might surprise you. He grew up with the greats like Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gellespe, etc. as extended family/ like aunts and uncles. He Loved T’chaka with his entire heart, he just suffered with addiction and had a lot of internal challenges, but he LOVED his son…. They both had that pure, genuine smile….. nothing fake, both real ones. 💯

cant help but have admiration for prodigy, he is a street hardcore guy which is intelectual at the same time, he is kind and threats everbody with respect, it seems like he never trip about the small stuff, i find him highly transparent, well versed, emotionally intelligent and i think its quite clear that he is the most intelligent wherever he goes, i feel like gangsta rappers who has a street reputation face certain media pressure to have credibility of being really what they claim, i think prodigy its so real that he doesn't have to do stupid stuff like beefing with other artist , he is down to earth and honestly he makes me feel proud of being a hiphop head having people like him who represent this, i knew it when i heard him talk about how he started eating healthy and how that impacted the way he think and he feels, i've been so interested in healthy nutrition and working out for a long a time and im the type of person that praise the difference in life quality you can attain by switching to eating plants because i've experienced it myself and i think this is key to evolve in today's modern wolrd, its amazing that prodigy coming from the background that he comes from it's aware of this and it is letting us know about it , maximum respect to prodigy and anyone who supports this sort of new evolved version of him. he knows when he get that real to show a more positive side of him was going to be inmensely critisized by low vibration people who are addicted to negativity. R.I.P. Prodigy honestly it kind of makes sense that he had to go, he is a good one, and it is one of the most lamentable loses in hiphop world.

Mid 90s super thuggish P, early to mid 2000s P where he was kinda calming down but couldn't help but to carry a damn gun, post prison after doing three years (for...yep, guns) where we got this version. Loved em all and was dope seeing him change over the years. Sucks he's gone

January 25th 2018 had to come back and listen to the God P. This is arguably one of his best interviews. He addresses alot of topics throughout the interview and its refreshing seeing him in a good space and hearing his plans. Bitter-sweet. Miss my dunn, forever. I always wanted to know where he got his style from. Prodigy is for eternity. #HegelianDialectic
