The two small Velcro tabs are for TAD Ranger Eyes, while the long strip of Velcro is to attach to the strip of material inside of the hood to the outside allowing the hold to be rolled up.
stu, paul did get hit on the import charges, i think it was about £50 off the top of my head, i will ask him the total amount after royal mail added there bit on
Cracking vid! I'm looking for a high quality hard wearing waterproof jacket and was torn between a north face tri climate and the TAD stealth Lt. I'm now really leaning toward the tad Lt. What do you recon o could use for a warmth layer. Do TAD do something like that?
Ranger could be a good warmth layer but could be abit bulky, or you could go with a micro style fleece from any of the big mountaineering brands, that would give you light weight and pack ability. If it had to be tad they do the Praetorian,Flux, Special Service Sweater or the new Pursuit Half-Zip. Check out there site, all quality stuff. Keep you eye on the channel for a 3 month review of the stealth and the lt model to see how there fairing up. Lots more TAD Gear stuff on the way also
The moral patch can be removed, But the Velcro is stitched onto the jacket. So you would still have a square shaped Velcro patch there. So to answer your question, then no unfortunately you cant totally remove the patch on the front of the jacket. hope this helps ATB Paul and Jay
I'm looking into getting a Stealth Hoodie LT for use in a variety of cold weather days (4 Degrees celsius down to Zero) would this be good at keeping me warm in 4 Degrees celsius weather without layering?
The LT is worth the cash if you need a gore tex shell that would keep you dry in a monsoon, but if its for regular activities the normal is very capable. Personally i like both of them they have there uses in different situations but if i could only have one it would be the normal one, then spend the spare cash on other stuff
fmxmyway you wont be disappointed there a great bit of kit, we have a review of the force 10 RS trousers coming up in the next couple of weeks, drop us a sub for a heads up when the vid drops

cheers for the info, wasnt too sure what they where there for, but there is always a method in tad gears designs
Might want to take a second look at your jacket. There are some pockets you didn't mention or have not found yet. Good luck.

can you remove that small morale patch on the front? being a minimalist clothing enthusiast that thing for me is an eyesore.. -_-

I believe they now offer it without the patch
Without the patch is only on the arms. I own 3 Stealth Hoodie Lts (without patch) and it still has the small patch spot at the waist.

LT is only a gore tex shell so needs to be used in conjunction with a layering system for those temps
So which one do you like better? Is the LT worth that extra cash?
