Hey man keep up the good work! 👍 We have been in our new house for over six months now, but I'm still watching. I learn a lot from your videos even though I have lived in the area for almost 40 years. and burrito Perdido is what I miss the most about living in the grassfield area. We tried to go there anytime we're out in the area.
+John Dyer yes!!!! So glad! I’m stoked you keep watching and like them all. Was actually thinking of your guys when I made this one. I’m going to keep pumping out more vids so hope they stay good enough for you to enjoy 😃 thanks for the vote of confidence
"It's not all fancy and brownies" ?? LOL Maybe that's a Southside saying. Hey Sam, what a beautiful area of Chesapeake. I appreciated your clear-headed review. ("clear-headed" meant not swooning over the bigger lots, high end properties, etc and frank about the country feel, driving time, and Great Bridge specials) I confess to being a total real estate nerd and cruising Zillow looking at homes I have no hope ever of actual buying. I've really enjoyed looking at the Hickory properties. You even did a drive-by of one of my recent favorite (now sold) homes! Extra points for that. Do they really say "Eden-burg"?Thanks for another fun and informative video. Cheers, Cliff
Hey, Cliff! Glad you enjoyed it. I really like Hickory primarily because I spent a lot of time with friends who lived there when I was a kid. But that was before the size of the population seemingly doubled! Honestly, I'm convinced people say "Eden-burg" but I'm sure people say it both ways, hahaha. Thanks for your support!!!
I used to go to Hickory middle school and it was.... ok. Not the best school, my gym teacher cursed out a student, my science teacher was literally always yelling, there was a few fights in 6th grade + one or two in 7th. But I mean I made some good friends there, but I wished I went to a better school. Not sure about the high school though.
Could you do a video on where you can live in NC near the VA line? That has good schools. Hickory is too expensive for me. I know some people live near moyock or Elizabeth city and work in VA. But I don't know much about that part of NC. If you cant do any of that can you tell me where I might be able to find that information.
Hickory is one of the most popular and highest ranked school districts in Chesapeake. Watch Sam's video to find out why you should consider living there.
Sorry you didn't like it! Maybe because it's boring? According to publications, Chesapeake is one of the most boring cities in the country! I mentioned that in the Chesapeake Pros/Cons video, too!
