    Great interview - thanks for sharing. Matt doesn't seem too worried about the (short-term) impact of Bard on SEO. However in their annual developer conference (Google I/O 2023) Google confirmed that in the near future the entire 'above the fold' search results will consist of a combination of ads and AI generated responses. (And that is besides the fact their AI-search result doesn't link sources). You'd think this will certainly fundamentally change serp/organic traffic..? Mobile organic search may be hit even harder by these changes. (Totally off-topic but you have the best hair ever, ha).

      Yeah the Google I/O was definitely scary. Will be making a video about it once theres a bit more info on it. Hahah appreciate the comment on the hair 👱‍♂️

      @@JaumeRos Would be interesting to hear your take on that - admittedly I'm rather concerned. It does make me wonder if with such changes a lot of publishers would still feel incentivised to create content.

      I’m wondering the same thing. Video coming soon!

    I had never heard about the mentioned approach of having several websites covering the same niche. Is this a common strategy today? Is this viable also for an individual creator (without team)? I mean you would spread yourself thin and compete against yourself. Thoughts?

    • @JaumeRos
      @JaumeRos  Рік тому +1

      Yeah I don’t think this is as viable today. Much harder to rank site, let alone 10 to cover the whole first page.

    • @TheLukeH
      @TheLukeH Рік тому +2

      In this scenario would you link to yourself? The best backlink you can get is from the #1 ranked for the search. Couldn’t you rank one and pull yourself up the ranking with a link chain?

    • @JaumeRos
      @JaumeRos  Рік тому +1

      I suppose you could! But again not sure how viable this is today
