MTD's Zero Emission Technology: Omer Osman, IL Secretary of Transportation

Our renewable hydrogen is made possible by funding from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). MTD is building a 5,500-panel solar array to provide renewable energy to MTD’s hydrogen production station. The solar project is funded through IDOT’s Rebuild Illinois Capital Grant Program.
