Aphantasia girl here too. I’ve always loved reading and thought people were exaggerating when they said they pictured this or that lol. Meditation is hard for me.
Wow - 41 books for the summer is crazy, good on you! I'm currently on book 41 for this YEAR but I was in a huge slump from early July until the last day of August. I'm so proud of myself that I've picked up a book on the last day of August and finished 5 books in September - almost done with book 6 for the month
I read Such Charming Liars and Lightlark because of your videos! Enjoyed both! For my personal recommendations: Traitors Game - I think that's right up your alley! by Jennifer Nielsen. Or The Thief by Meghan Whalen Turner. Both of those books are my beloveds!
I would LOVE to see your reaction to the Illuminae Files series. Oh my gosh it’s so freaking good in my opinion. I read it physically AND audiobook. Combination is chefs kiss 🤌 but please please check it out!!
Any time I see a picture of someone’s bookshelf, they have the Scythe books so I eventually picked up the first one from the library and I was so disappointed. What made it worse was that it was a first edition and it was so riddled with errors, it was insane. I wanna get into sci-fi so bad but with most of the things I’ve read in the genre so far, I just end up so confused because the authors never really explain anything about how the world works, how the technology works, or even what things look like. I’m just expected to know everything the author isn’t explaining, I guess but books don’t work that way 😭 Scythe wasn’t too bad in that regard, but it’s a common thing I’ve noticed to the point I’m thinking of just giving up on sci-fi

NOO SAMME!! I thought when people said envision stuff they just meant think about it really hard 😂
