Lunch break at work and just had to watch you new upload! I just got these two girls last week. My favorites of the bunch! Unfortunately, I ordered both online. My blue-lipstick fashionista...lipstick has cuts and is smeared onto her chin. I'm going to try to clean up and fix myself. I changed purple hair into a pastel cutie with a new outfit! Don't know why they put her in that dress to begin with. Missed opportunity.

So sorry you got a doll with smeared lip paint, ordering online is a gamble! Returning a $10.00 doll probably isn't worth it, I prefer buying in store because of my perfectionism!

@@chetc5068 I actually just got around to trying to clean it up today. Got the paint off the chin with acetone, however, definitely is cut on the chin. But it looks a lot better! ...annoying that this is a reality with Mattel now, but that's okay. I still love Barbie. 🤣

I just started collecting, I have two Barbie fashionistas and the new muscular ken lol. He’s still in the box but it’s hard to open him lol. You always do such an excellent restyling your dolls and I was wondering if I could ask a question. I have one of my fashionistas with the Millie head and pink glasses and tropical print dress, my question is how best do you remove the small plastic pieces sticking out of their head? I don’t want to cut her hair, does the boil and wash process help in removing those small pieces that make styling hair a nightmare

Well I usually use small scissors to remove them, sometimes you’re lucky and the pegs stay to the plastic when you yank it out in a quick go from the attached cardboard 😅🙈
But if you heat the head first it can probably be easier to pull out.. ✌🏻🩷

I took out the bun and dipped the hair in boiled water VERY quickly in and out to get rid of the partings engraved in her hair from the rubber bands..
