Don’t stress yourself. I’ve donated 3 times so I’ve got you covered 😊. Ivan only mentions the donations as he wants to show appreciation. Clicking the button is as good as. Share your knowledge with anyone who wants to know and the world is a better place ❤gailgreenberg
That is true i would never ask for Donations but it is very important to thank those that do Donate
Thank you
Thanks! I really enjoy watching you plant all of your garden containers, and hearing what you have to say. You have such great ideas in the way you do things. You are such a pleasant person and have such joy in what you do , and you grow so many different things! You are very inspiring and have taught me a lot. Take care. 🤗🩷
Thank you Sandy very generous of you and i will give you a mention on my Tuesday video
Wow, what a difference a week made to those tomato plants!
It really did Thank you
I love the red star plant. It will be very striking in your garden. The round carrots are so interesting! Can’t wait to see them. The gem lettuce looks delicious. Your raised beds look so perfect and neatly planted. The marigolds look great in there, that’s my favorite color! I really like your planting tool that makes the holes to plant. It works great. You got a lot done Ivan! Beautiful day. ☀️🥕🍅🥬
Thank you Sandy it is starting to come together
Love it Ivan! I am learning every day with you! Keep it going!!!
Great stuff Thank you
Told you the other week you'd have more than two tomato plants Ivan! lol!
Yes you did lol Thank you Melody
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk did you check out the Huw Richards seed planters yet? I want to send you some! I can seed them to the pub!
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk I've bought the raised bed and going to varnish it and follow suit! I hope your adapting well!
It couldn't have been easy moving from a large garden with several greenhouses to a much smaller space. I really felt for you and was not sure how you could/would make it work.
But........ You look very happy in your new surroundings and wow you make use of every inch of space.
I may need to downsize my garden in the very near future and fear losing growing space but again you amaze and inspire at the same time.
Thank you Lee very kind of you
You've become my favourite channel. Really good natured, regular folk. No fancy tools or big massive farm like plots. You're both inspiring and have boosted my gardening confidence having just started this March. I've now definitely caught the bug, and if my plants/veg or fruits don't work out sure so be it. I've had a blast and I've learned so much for next season! Thanks again Ivan and Ginny
Thats brilliant Thank you Natalie
Really glad I came across your channel several weeks ago. I have had a very difficult few years and have found gardening in the last couple of years has helped my stress levels. I have little idea what I am doing but have been inspired by your ‘get on with it’ attitude. I am trying to do it all on a very low budget so it doesn’t always look that pretty but have decided to embrace the rustic look. Looking forward to seeing how your garden develops and will be going back to watch your older videos in between. All the best with your new home.
Thats great welcome aboard Sydney and Thank you
Sweet cherry pie lvan that looks ace mate ❤🍒😁
Thank you much appreciated
Seeing you buying all that compost made me think.
You seem to have a fair bit of space under the caravan where you could put a couple of totes and some worms to create castings.
you might be able to reduce your compost buying and make a bit yourself. It's very easy, even I can do it. 😊 Cheers!
Thank you much appreciated
The raised beds are looking terrific, well done Ivan
Thank you Nicki
Thanks
Thank you Andy much appreciated
Ivan I wish I could donate to you. I am on a fixed income and can't manage to help financially. But all my thoughts and prayers are with you and Ginny.
Hi Gail your presence on this channel is more than enough i love the fact that you care and you cannot put a price on that
Thank you for your support
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk Thank you Ivan.
I'm having lunch every day now thanks to you. I get in the garden and forget to eat then wonder why I've got a headache. I make time to eat lunch and watch you. No headaches! Love the program.
Buy yerself a packet of seeds instead.
I’m leaving all my plants out now too Ivan even though I’m in North Yorkshire. I spent weeks hardening them off so I’ve told them they have to take their chances or die 😂😂😂
Should be passing your last frost date around now so should be ok
Thank you Susie
Everything looks wonderful Ivan.👌🍓🌸🍅🥕
Thank you Jen
Cracking job there. Love your channel. Would love to know where the trays of veg are from as I can't quite make out the labels so can't source the supplier. They look really well grown and prepared so I'm keen to track them down! I really like how you've both made the most of your change of situation and have found a nice place to settle and a lovely friendly community to be part of. It really does make a difference to wellbeing. Can't wait to see an abundant harvest soon!
They were from a family run Garden Center in Lincolnshire
Thank you
Hi Ivan. You are doing a great job with your new Caravan Container Garden and I really look forward to your updates each day. I have struggled with getting a low price but decent compost this year. I think you said the compost your were buying was £5.00 for 50 ltrs which is very good. It looks quite good stuff and I wondered what make it is and where you get it from? Thanks. Trevor
Hi Trevor its called Verve from B&Q 3 bags for £15
Thank you
Thanks Ivan. I will give B&Q a try. Trevor
Nice job. It's great to see a plan come together so well.
Thank you Connie
Thanks Ivan, for this great update on a lovely sunny Sunday (it's now chucking it down), lol. Have a great week. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thank you Stevie
Things are looking ship shape there Ivan well done, looking forward to seeing it all later. Big congratulations to Ginny on her new job, how wonderful 👍
Thank you Carol
Your container garden looks really great :) I can’t wait to see more
Thanks so much! 😊
Excellent video again , Ivan. Now you’re in a windy part of the country a wind shield called a dead cat on your microphone may help cut out the wind noise? Just an idea. I use one on my Zoom😊
Thank you but i film with my Phone so not sure if that will work
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk Probably not ,using a phone, The wind noise isn’t very noticeable in any case.
Thanks for the update Ivan, so pleased you and Ginny, are settling in well in your new home. Everything looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Plenty more to do
Thank you Sheila
Ivan,, , we have that very same obelisk, its now in its 3rd yr & still holding up. I'm ready to plant out purple scented sweet-pea seedlings on it this yr to put on patio. Seeds only cost me 99p. That red cordaline was a real bargain buy, would look so nice against a white railing on a balcony seating area, gentle breeze moving those gorgeous leaves. I'm on the look out for budget lightweight window boxes to make full use of my small patio area. l over sown mixed lettues & now ready to plant out., l dont want to waste them lol. Off to our local car boot tomorrow to see if l can find one.
Great stuff Thank you Katie
Thanks for all you great advice on planting
So nice of you
Great progress Ivan, looking great😊
Thank you Tahara
Not sure if you know this but your celery will grow back next year they overwinter well just take off what you want and leave around an inch or so at the bottom. So each one will do 2 seasons no problems. I grew mine from seed 2 years ago had heard they were not easy to grow so over did it had so many plants i didn't know what to do with them all.
Always good to know Thank you
My Dwarf French Beans in containers were brilliant last year. I'm doing them again this year, just more of them, and also Dwarf Runner Beans and cut and come again Lettuce. I'd never have even considered these as an option in container before watching your channel. I'm really looking forward to watching things develop over the coming months and seeing how much more I can learn!
Great stuff Thank you
Lovely . Like little soldiers in a row. Excellent. Looks lovely
Thank you Barbara
Son muchas macetas
Thank you
Been watching video for the last few days. Your move has gone well, the container gardening looking amazing coming along lovely, can U have a compost bin? Would love to live in a caravan
No as we live near a pub that serves food so would attract rats
Thank you Mark
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk that's a Shame
I Wish I Could Donate To Your Channel Ivan, But I Am Disabled On A Tiny Income. I Do Watch All Your Video's, I Think You An Ginny Are Fantastic. Take Care. X
No need to Donate Deborah your support is enough Thank you for the thought
I like your veg beds because they have straight sides. Mine are sloping. May I ask where you got them from? Garden looks fab!
Hi Irene we got them from Amazon
Thank you
Looking good Iven, all the best Tim 👍
Thanks 👍
Can you tell me where you bought those double planters please?
Hi Linda yes they were from Amazon i think they are called Yaatech
Thank you
You're very creative Ivan. I bet you have inspired a few others on the site to have a go. Doubt you'll get any slug attacks, but watch out for high jumping rabbits😆
I hope so!
Thank you Linda
Looking brill Ivan, you are both doing a great job.
In my experience I have always had trouble with slugs eating my marigolds.
Where did you get your two tier planters from .
Been away for a couple of weeks, just been through all the videos you have put out. Brilliant.
Great stuff Thank you for that Martyn and the planters were from Amazon
What is the name of the garden centre you use for the plants please?
Its a small family one in Lincolnshire Thank you paula
My cordaline got damaged by wind over winter. Can anything be done to save them?
Not sure on that one they are usually very hardy so may recover through Summer Thank you
Wow guys!!! You are doing so well. Loving watching your progress. I look forward to your posts. 👍👍👍
Will you be growing any herbs??
Thank you Kate and yes will be setting up a Herb Garden too
Where did you buy your veg plants and the tray price - they look very good quality.
From a garden center in Lincolnshire
Thank you
Looks amazing Ivan. Just wondering if you are doing any dwarf green beans? I'm not convinced with mine. They do have some new growth but are still very small?
Mine are too - it’s the weather
They will soon pick up Thank you Donna
Still a little unsettled but will be better soon
Thank you Susie
Thanks
Very kind of you Thank you Dianne
