Being an independent artist you are going to be in debt as well.
For an artist to make money they to diversify and think long game.
Money man’s business mind is so underrated. He stayed Indy for so long cause labels know they can’t play him
Yall should start listening to this man
dj akademiks you cant lie money man is smart brother.
you having a good conversation.
Been on money man since secret society
the smoothest "Yunno naa I'm sayinnnn" adlib I ever heard in an interview.🤣🤣🤣
The record label has to recoup There money spent on production and promotion it’s what they will tell you.
Blueface- currently disputing charges on that 10k cheeseburger 🤣🤣🤣
He the smartest rapper in 2024 today back in the day it was master P 💯 these type street dudes are rare in the game today everyone chasing the image more than the money in be tough an hard in F up deals yelling gang gang but getting finessed the whole time or get caught up in Rico because labels not pushing unless they recoop that next project bag which leaves artist stuck in the deal never able to make enough to buy there self out the deal frfr salute to rich gang stunna very solid 💯
rappers so crazy, they can just go create a business and get business loan to turn they self up
Nbs the money man wave was crazy came out if no where and stuck around
"nahm sayin"
"You know what I'm saying.."
This is a very basic human yall just never went to school bro
He needs his own channel. WAY MORE interesting conversation than what most of yall podcasters be gossiping about.
An advance is simply that, you pay it back in full. Labels giving you 1 million expect to make at least 20-50 back from the investment they made in you… if you manage to make that much then they’ll sign you again with better terms and expect to make more than the first sign….They don’t get you the artist to pay back 5-6 million from your own pocket! And how do you walk around with 500k on you, I’ve met plenty of billionaires that walk around with just a bank card and a phone. He’s talking crap.
Money man been should have got the 2 hour conversation
His name is Money Man🤷🏽♂️
What’s so hard abt ppl understanding an advance is the same as a loan and on those there are interest rates, but artist are so caught up in the immediate money
