i listened to the 8 and 5 hour lectures also! it un-de-confused me on pretty much everything where the reformed managed to confused me. (came to Christianity as an adult in 2019 from atheism with detour into New Age, right away I found Doreen, I read the bible as Doreen told me to do (none of the reformed pastors, in real life and on internet told me to read the Bible for myself). some parts of the Bible made sense just straight reading them without any interpretation other than bible itself. then studying current reformed interpretations, it confused me on many parts which seemed to make sense originally. so then Heiser cheated it all up and put rationality back for me into the parts of the Bible where they belong (which is a good chunk of it) (such as the book of Revelation) but Heiser especially makes the bible come to Life. like a dead lake (current evangelical interpretation) suddenly teaming with fish and ducks. (and some not so fun animals, of course
