Mark, I bought that VR46 car off of Rob on Monday off of eBay, that’s crazy to see it in your video today, he shipped it I get it this Friday, great videos, keep up the great work! 13:02
Yeah, I think they were using copyrighted names and logos for their own financial gain. How silly of a a business to "not know" they were infringing on legal copyrights...
@@f.noggle They make aftermarket parts. If you make a aluminum motor mount for a traxxas slash then its a “Traxxas slash motor mount”… idk what else they expect you to call it Lets not forget they sued arrma and claimed the invented lay down suspension (invented in the 60s)
I've got an origional tamiya frog that my great grandpa bought when they first came out. It cleaned up real nice, still has a functioning mechanical speed controller, and the body is clear, not painted! All of the origional parts are on it and still work like new, but it is definitely my shelf queen
I'm on my second HPI Racing hauler bag like that @3:15. Although, the logo's on mine have always just been all white. I don't know why there aren't more companies that make one like that. My first one lasted me a long time and I lucked out and got another off a guy on a forum a few years back when HPI's existence was questionable.
Lucky buggar, I just paid almost 300 for that spektrum esc and motor. Hahahaha I'm happy for ya. I'm planning a road trip down through Utah and Texas later this year. I'm gonna keep an eye out for swap meets haha
Those Tamiya points you bought are like 26 a can here so I just bought an airbrush rig, bigger 3d printer, laser, I'm building 2 cnc machines and designing a custom foam cutter for my buddy who is into building planes. It can cut foam like it's a 3d printer. I'm making sure that most of my rigs for the park that people can use are easily repairable. I'm going to sell tickets on a few rtrs though. My engineering degree has never been used professionally as I became a first responder instead and now I'm 44 and retired so I'm gonna try to get people into rc and hope someone opens a shop locally as I'm not in it for money. I'm gonna rent and store fresh batteries and sell rcs at cost to members and do repairs and sell 3d printed scale accessories for super cheap. If I get enough people I have an indoor 24 scale course designed and mostly printed for when the snow comes. I own a heated 48x48 building that used to be a carpentry shop that I use as a garage and I have an empty apartment in my basement that is going to have a few sim driving rigs and computers and such if people want to learn to code, build custom lighting for their rcs. I have over 100 thousand leds of all types and tons of soldering stations and such. I donate electronics learning kits to people for free if they live in Canada or the US. I've been doing that a while after I kitted out the local makerspace wirh a proper electronics section. If you know anyone who wants to learn to make their own lighting looms or electronics in general just get them to email me. That goes for anyone reading this. No strings attached. It's super easy and fun to create your own custom rc lighting and the options are only limited by the extra channels available if you want sim control or easier if you want your rc to be a light show with a hidden button haha. I'm skipping bashers for when I open because they are over 1k for a decent one but I have a few built that people can try and I'll have lots of parts haha. If my endeavor fails then I'll have a place to crawl or race with friends on land not being used on the side of my house with a bunch of trails to the beach through the woods and an old parking lot I can set ramps up across the street where the local fire dept train. Perks of no neighbors. Haha I have access to cheap gravel and wood and access to a tractor. Plus my wife's father can make anything out of metal. We used to build custom sim driving rigs but there wasn't a market so I donated them and kept one. Rally games are bananas in vr and I plan to add a motion system to one with old motors a buddy finds. He's a scrapper and I repair vintage electronics for him to resell so he hooks me up. Sorry for rambling. Great videos.
Don’t need 6s to break the century in a vendetta. I just swapped in the 130a 4s spektrum esc and used the high speed gearing on the stock motor and hit 102 and it still had some left but I was running in a smaller parking lot. It bolts right into the stock location, stiffen the shocks and put the low pro spoiler on it came with. I bash it with the stock pinion and it’s fine, probably get a nice motor fan for it soon but that’s it’s. Super easy.

They are not about us the rc community. I know you love them. But I will not be supporting traxxs every again. I just got rid of all my traxxas rigs after finding out what happened. I had over 15. @V8chump not really. I'm not going to support a company that does not support us in the rc community and goes after people who are doing nothing wrong. Traxxas is only about themselves and money. Wish we had swap meets like this where I am at.
So swap meet for Ethan's main, but pitting for Evan's, busted dad! Now we know the favorite! LOL JK 😁
Condom Sense... What an amazing shop name XD
Man it’d be nice if there was a swap meet like this in my area!
Where are you from? My hobby shop closest to me is a 30 min drive, and has one every other month

Most RC guys don't seem to know this but you really need to use some kind of thermal paste/tape/epoxy between the heatsink and motor.
Just curious why?
Only time I’ve ever seen it is with my mini e-revo. I used it but no idea what it’s purpose is.
